Your Fav Halo Campaign level of all time?

From any FPS halo game. (Nothing against wars)

Mine would still have to be the silent cartographer, just such a great opening plus it was the first level I ever played. Haha had to sneak in my brothers room to do so though lol

The Maw for me. I absolutely love the music in the opening cutscene for the level.

Flood on Halo CE. Many reasons why! Closest or maybe on par would be the Halo 3 warthog mission.

Assault on the Control Room hands down.

Halo 3- Level 2(crows nest I think it was called?). Purely for the RvB easter egg.

“Come on, Chief’s out here!”
“… Does HE know the password?”.

> Assault on the Control Room hands down.

I knew I would see that. I forgot the name going in here but I knew someone would get it.

ASSAULT ON THE CONTROL ROOM

Classic, utterly brilliant level. When I think of Halo I think of this level.

Halo:CE-Truth and Reconciliation-Heroic difficulty

Dunno why but it was the most memorable mission in all of the Halo games.

The maw is cool, seeing the pillar of Autumn in such a state of ruin is always worth it. Also yeah the RVB Easter egg is funny as hell haha.

Also assault onthe control room is one of my favs as well.

In halo 2 Outskirts/metropolis was always my fav (I know it’s two levels but in playing them I always consider them one level in my mind for some reason haha)

Halo CE, The Library and I’m not even kidding.

Floodgate from Halo 3

Metropolis, it has all I need even a scarab gun.

I’ve always been into “Silent Cartographer” from the original Halo, Halo anniversary’s version was really close.

I say that because the anniversary version is using a totally different engine, if anyone would like to challenge me on this, let me know.

Halo 2 … Outskirts, Legendary Difficulty, and using the rooftops to methodically get the drop on the Jackal Snipers instead of getting 1sk by them constantly.

Man, all of H2 was just mind blowing. I can still put that game in and play it all the way through on Legendary to this day, even if it takes me several hours a night to get through a single level. Once I get going, and get back into “that” world it’s hard to stop.

Mombasa Streets from ODST, especially once you’ve unlocked all the districts after your first play-through. No other level in any other Halo game succeeds that spectacularly in capturing the very essence of how your character feels: trapped alone in a city occupied by hostile forces hell-bent of not only killing you and your mates, but wiping out your whole species.

While the environment is admittedly very repetitive, this actually adds to that grand atmosphere of desperation and loneliness. No other Halo game before or after ever had that great of an atmosphere.

Of all time - Reclaimer (enough said. And did I forget to mention getting a Wraith inside the Lich? ;))

AI - Midnight (dancing Knight)

Combat - Silent Cartographer, Outskirts, The Storm, LNoS, Composer
Scale - AotCR/Two Betrayals, Gravemind, The Covenant, Uplift Reserve, New Alexandria
Exploration - Halo (CE), Delta Halo, The Ark, Mombossa Streets, Nightfall, Requiem

simply Halo 3- The Storm

Halo CE’s Warthog Run
and Halo 3’s Mongoose Run.

Assault on the control room for sure!

More than that I liked The ark, Midnight and The maw.

Deffinatly the maw for me with assault on the control room a very close second.

Also the sabre mission in reach was really good too.

I just got halo anniversary yesterday actually, gotta say is is a nice remake
