Here’s mine, it will never happen but maybe 1 or 2 things will be made reality.

Active camo reverted back to halo:reach type radar scrambling (red dots). It’s easier to tell where the camo person was and harder to track others while using it so it’s not as blatantly abused.

DMR auto aim at a distance tweaked to be in line with other long range weapons. Maximum rate of fire nerfed slightly. (250-400ms difference)

Thruster pack no longer pans out into 3rd person. Now more similar to evade from halo: reach

Boltshot charged blast range has been reduced significantly. Now just outside of melee range, making it a wide spread but very short range shotgun.

Invasion gametype brought back

Ordnance drop power weapons limited. No rockets, snipers, or shotguns.

Weapon spawns are once again set spawns
I think if these changes were implemented I’d be a lot less frustrated with the game right now. Honestly though I feel 343’s biggest mistake is in allowing everyone to start with a long range weapon (DMR, BR, Carbine). It’s made maps like complex and ragnarok complete camp fests, with everyone picking eachother off from across the map. It has also removed the frequency of intense close quarter assault rifle battles and tactics, something I loved. It’s also encouraged active camo abuse. It’s frighteningly easy to abuse it on these maps.
This formula is what has always made Halo the superior game.
