I am getting fed up with this issue with the Microsoft/Halo 5 servers.
It seems every 15-20 Infection games I just get kicked out. The game doesn’t even appear in my game history so I assume the server takes a massive crap and dumps everyone out of the game, but this shouldn’t be happening so frequently and it’s really annoying.
Anyone else finding this a problem or is it just me?
Yes it does seem to be happening more often but with the servers in general. Seems to becoming a common issue since around December 2015, well it’s not got much better since then. Plenty of things are broken like the REQ system frequently goes down often.
It’s happened to me a few times and I agree that it’s annoying.

Started happening yesterday… 
seems like they fixed it now, I feel you on that though… upsets me whenever it happens.
Happened twice today, this third time the game completely crashed. Halfway through the match defending monument solo with Prophets Bane and Answer, only to hear a loud screech and the site of the XBone home screen. Classy 343
When this happens to some MMOS on the PC, the players get compensated with in game items or free subscription days. I played Skyforge for a time, and there was some issue with the servers or there was extended maintenance, they handed out 7 day free “premium” (I.e subscription) as compensation. Even Ea did this with BF4 (gold battle packs) and their free mobile game (need for speed no limits).
We have been experiencing 7 months of constant server issues, especially regional players. Some form of acknowledgement is needed other than “we are working on it”.
I’m not sure if it’s because of my internet (which seems to work fine with other games) or a problem on 343’s/Microsoft’s side, but because of this problem and getting disconnected every 3 games i’ve recieved a cumulative ban of more than 5 hours in 3 days.
EDIT: today (22/6/2016) I had the same problem with another game.
Same here in india too… kind of annoying… since i play only for fun… i dont get annoyed much…yet its a problem that should be fixed asap.
seems to happen everywhere. kind of annoying if you get banned cause of that.
Hey guys I’ve gotten back on halo 5, and I’ve been playing this online, with no issues, for three straight weeks. Until, yesterday, the game said I wasn’t able to connect to their server. The odd thing about this is that the xbox is syncing my data of halo 5 in the game, and it syncs fine, but for some odd reason, the game isn’t recognizing the data, which leads to my spartan being rank 1 instead of 22. All my maps are gone, and everything. The odd thing though is that waypoint has all of my profile’s maps, achievements, and rank. Can anyone please tell me why my xbox one halo 5 game is the only game that can’t work right now?
P.S. I play games with worse servers, and they work.
Agree. It happens way too often. ESPECIALLY with Infection.
Servers are SO unreliable…

I agree too, but have any of guys played call of duty black ops 3, its much WORSE than halo 5. Say if you were having issues with a game in call of duty black ops 3, not only will it lag, but it would show a plug being plugged and unplugged followed by text saying “disconnected”. What this does is that it leaves your character immobolized from moving, while this is happening, people get a free shot at you, and kill you, while you have NO CONTROL with your character. Also EVEN IF YOU HAVE PERFECT CONNECTION, it still does this disconnected thing leaving you a sitting duck waiting to get killed. As a result, Halo 5 is SO MUCH BETTER than CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 3. Because of this, 343 industries isn’t as bad as a lot of people think it is.
Also, I have wireless connection, and it was working a lot more better on halo 5 when I was playing on it for three weeks, than me playing black ops 3 for three months. What I find odd about this is how halo 5, in my own opinion, had probably one of the best servers when it first came out.
I just hope though this problem will resolve sooner or later, because this game has a lot of potential!

The funny thing is that I remember halo 4 used to lag so much that the LEGENDARY GHOST ARMOR actually was a fascinating glitch. For anyone who played halo 4, the game used to have a lot of lagging which caused a lot of people’s spartan armor to appear completely white, with no spartan inside the armor. Although today though, this glitch isn’t possible to do on halo 5, as far as I know about the game, because the ability that was used to do this no longer exists on halo 5.
