Every time I try to join a multiplayer match, or a co-op campaign mission, I always get kicked out due to my “console being disconnected from the servers”. It is not happening to any of my friends, and every other game on my Xbox One works correctly. I would like to know what to do to remedy this problem, and why it seems to be happening to me and me alone.
Same for me here. It is been really frustrating. Yesterday I was playing perfect matches… Now non of them. I live in China. I have to admit that my connection is not perfect. But still I am surprised.
I am not sure which server is connecting Halo 5… But it’s supposed to be the nearest one, am I right?
can someone give some insight as to why i keep “losing connection” as soon as my game starts? i can play 2-3 games fine then after that i just get booted out saying i have lost connection, but im still signed into xbox live. any advice would be nice, please fix this asap, this is the second halo game i have spent money on that does not 100% work.

I had 4 DNF’s in a row due to this yesterday and it was maddening, then it mysteriously let up and was only like 1 in 5 games. Now I’m back to disconnecting all the damn time. Never had this problem with any other game, besides MCC.
I am having the same issues as far as connectivity with my game as well, as others have said it is not my internet, I have reset the modem, cleared my Xbox’s cache and tried ejecting the disc and putting it back in all to no avail. I bought halo 5 mainly to play multiplayer with all my friends and to have this happen so soon after launch is game breaking. Please expedite fixing this issue so us players can continue enjoying your game 343. Halo is my childhood, don’t let me down.
I would like to note just for proof of “checking your internet” to be a soltion this is a wide spread issue I myself am also unfortunate enough to have it ever since launch I can get maybe 1 game in sometime before I disconnect from arena it’s been this way sinceaunch and being the halo but I nut I am I tried everything just for note if 343 is watching I called my ISp changed from a static back to a dynamic, then no change.I reset router to factory settings, no change. I ran internet straight from the jack to Xbox one , no change I then removed the preview dashboard from my console… Which factory resets removing all content
and then ran the same tests again… Still no change. I am very sad 343 ease help me my internet is optilink and I have an open mat I hope this mames

Yeah this has been happening to me in Ranked arena only for some reason / think it might have something to do with preview program if you are a part of that.
I’ve been having the same issue. In both Ranked Arena and Warzone. I won’t be in the match more than 3 min and lose connection. And I’m not part of the preview program.

its certain internet providers TWC, -Yoink!-(UK) and charter internet, 343 is taking their sweet time though
Hey 343, are you going to fix this issue or at least give us an update as if it cannot be fixed I just bought a halo console bundle for nothing and want a frickin refund. I get booted from game and party every 10 minutes and it’s hurting my ranking.

Like earlier I played 9 arena matches. 4 of them ending up “DNF” due to the “console has been disconnected” error. Then what bothered me the most is that these “DNF” games, due to this error, appear to have penalized me as losses toward my arena rank. I know this because I was watching through waypoint stats too see my match to match progress, and the circle exp bar went down after these disconnects. I ended up going down from platinum 2 to 1…
As a competitive player, this has been disappointing. I’ve been unable to make any progress toward my arena rank because half of my matches usually end up as “DNF” disconnection errors…
So this brings up the question, are “DNF” games supposed to count as arena rank losses? I ask this because when I go to my arena stats in game, it doesn’t seem to affect my win/loss ratio and whatnot, but it obviously still dropped my arena rank. I’m guessing it doesn’t affect in game stats because they weren’t “completed matches”?
One more thing, I also noticed my cable modem flickers off then back on for only a split second while the game is disconnecting. I know it is not my internet connection because it is only for that split second during the “console has been disconnected” error. I have no other connection problems outside of this game.

Has this issue been resolved for you? I have been having the same exact issues since launch, but still no word from 343/Xbox Live…I have great internet (Verizon Fios), have no issues with any other games and my other devices work perfectly fine. I have tried restarting my router/modem, resetting the xbox, turning off my other wireless devices (even though my xbox is wired), etc.
Has anyone found success after encountering this issue? I fireteam with a couple of friends, and none of them have this issue. They’re actually getting pretty fed up with playing with me because this issue is making me a liability. No one wants to play with someone who is likely to leave you in a 3 on 4 situation.,… HELP!!!
