I got my email, updated the Infinite and started the game. At the main menu however I am greeted by a message saying “You are not authorized to play Halo Infinite”

It was my understanding the original flight start time has passed - and taken Ske7ch’s tweet as a source, it seems like it’s delayed. An hour? A Week? we’ll find out soon enough.

It was supposed to go live 2 hours ago which is why I made my this thread. I assume the lack of confirmation is because theyre not telling us when its going to go live for realsies this time
Hours not day or days just some hours Flight 1 infinite tech demo was over 6 hours late on original plan and i got system message after 5 am so this might be a case again so no panic its pain i know but its might be bc unknown reason still we need to wait another 5-6 hours 
did learn this from last flight so it might pushed at 24.9 morning or very early dawn

The flight update is available for download - got a 21GB file downloaded on my console. Anyone new may not have access on Insider Hub yet. Existing owners on “Infinite Insider” should have it available.
Play sessions weren’t going to start until tomorrow anyway.
Until 343i confirm a delay, let’s not say it’s delayed. Misinformation is a powerful thing.
Hopefully no one can get access to leaks in this round of flighting!

Think it will likely be after 2am, hopefully not too much longer after. In very excited to try and play a little of the objective to see how it handles.

that would explain why I can’t find all this stuff you guys keep talking about then! Sucks about the file size though, I might have it done downloading for sunday…stupid cornfield internet

thats where some people are getting nervous about the quality of this game, however, i see it as a positive. 343 sincerely does not want a Cyberpunk situation, they want to make sure the player can stay engaged. Its hopeful wishing, but they may extend time somewhere due to their delay. 343 hasnt let us down with this game yet

The game being this unfinished just 2 months from launch isnt how you avoid a Cyberpunk situation. It is a Cyberpunk situation. I can say with absolute certainty that this isn’t a last minute issue that popped up, they said that last time and there’s no way it’s happened twice. What’s more likely is they set a date that the game isnt ready by and have to scramble to hold it together with duct tape so that it doesn’t all fall to pieces during the beta (It’s a beta, not a flight. Let’s be real)

Pretty sure he’s just talking about Forge and co-op campaign being delayed until a few months after launch, at least that’s what everyone saying it’s “unfinished” defaults to.
