Gamepass PC version.

When I try and launch the game, I get greeted with an error, saying my microsoft account and sandbox don’t match. I’ve never changed my sandbox/environment, I even downloaded the dev tools to verify I am in the RETAIL environment. Tried signing out and back into the Xbox app too but no dice :l
there appears to be a reddit thread of others also running into this issue from the past hour.
Yup, I can confirm. Tried to launch MCC on PC and gave me an option to sign into my Xbox profile, tried but it gave me that error. All my other Microsoft accounts are connected fine, as well as the Xbox App. I haven’t changed anything within windows.
I’m having the exact same issue. I’m honestly thinking about switching to PlayStation if they don’t get their -Yoink- right.
Same problem here. I was playing Halo MCC on PC perfectly fine two days ago. I was also playing Hellblade earlier with no problems either. I’m able to sign into Xbox.com and Xbox PC App with no issues. No help online either

Same here. It could possibly have something to do with xbox soon changing the way game pass and xbox live work, might be an error to do with that.
I’ve also got this issue, i was playing just fine last night, tried signing out and back in to xbox live and didn’t work.

Same here, Tried syncing my Microsoft account and reseting the pc and still cant play the game

Same issue, I was in a chat with Microsoft and the rep referred me to this page after a half hour. They don’t have a fix yet.
same here, fresh install of MCC this morning…
I checked my dev environment with the XBLPCSandbox tool, and forced it to RETAIL as mentioned in other posts, no change.
Legit was playing the game just fine around noon yesterday. Now the one time I get a craving to play the game at night this happens.
Tried playing other games with that are on the game pass and have no issue. Something to do with Halo
Microsoft Support pretty much said FU to me… must be on 343’s end.

I assumed this too, most of my game pass games are working fine, but I actually am having the same issue on Ark. Halo was the first, and then I went through all my games, they all were fine except Halo and Ark. Not sure what’s going on. My friend is playing Halo right now no problem :S Using Game Pass for pc and everything

Im having the same issues…
Its such a Shame, that 343 has yet again… let us down… my brother is right next to me on another PC, and no issues…
But he Baught it on steam.

Have managed to ruin the best ffs ever… halo 3.
The worste thing is… As i have noticed through watching interviews abt these bananas…
They all have absolutely no clue that they are doing so bad.
And thats tha saddest part of the story…
The fact that they will never consider the fact that they are failing since taking over the halo franchise,
And actually believe that they are doing so well… is so heartbreaking… The way it seems halo is dead.
I PRAY THAT SOMEONE WILL RELEASE H3 EXACTLY HOW IT WAS… THEATRE! CHAT! BEING ABLE TO PARTY UP IN SOCIAL… HALO 3 RANKING SYSTEM.

I am getting the exact same issue with the Microsoft Store Version. And on the Steam Version, the game is giving me a Unreal Engine 4 Fatal Error just as I am loading into the game in the intro with Xbox Game Studios, then the game crashes. Early Evening yesterday around 7-8pm CST this was not happening.
Reinstalled the game and it doesn’t work either. What a waste of time.
