You wanna know why 343 doesn't come on here?

One guy here said that Halo had an awesome community once, and I literally laughed.

I’m perfectly fine with not knowing every exact detail of what they’re doing, knowing full well that they are, in fact, listening and working on issues that the community has pointed out and, like was said before, they’ve encouraged us to point out.

The people who make “They’re not listening” or “343 talk to us or you suck” threads and posts need to get over it.

I doubt they’d respond to that one; it’s the epitome of the worst this community has to offer.

I think that’s a good suggestion. If they aren’t talking about it in the bulletin.

All they need to do in Time Glitch’s thread is explain why they restricted and limited Custom Game options so much. Over 1000 people wonder why.

What if I told you… There was a time where even David Ellis posted on the forums.

Of course, the whole forums were a lot better then.

But do you know full well? Not once have I seen 343 say, okay, we’re working on ALL problems. It seems they’ve been too busy with their Crimson Map pack to fix some really bad issues in the game. Oh boy, the Crimson map pack fiasco was a disaster too.

For all the complaining, praising, and general shenanigans that occurs on these forums, I’d have thought I’d have walked into some reality t.v. show.

Halo 4 is fine. It has been fine, and it will remain fine

I was under the impression that the map pack was more Microsoft’s fault than 343. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure 343 doesn’t actually put up their Xbox Live stuff for download.

Anyway, yes, I know. People pointed out glitches and bugs when the game first came out; those were quickly fixed. We had that TU a little bit back, the announcement of which included announcing another TU, which will possibly be bigger/more noticeable. They’ve also stated that they’ve been working on the File Share.

Maybe respond on a bulletin or something, but to that thread in particular? No, that’s how children get spoiled, when the adult gives them stuff because they act like brats. The whole thing is a testament to how wrong this community is; why be constructive when you can rage and insult?

Let me put it like this Halo 4 = brand new car. If you had problems with this car the 1st day what would you do? I would try to get them to fix the problems immediately or return the car for a car in perfect/excellent condition. Halo’s radio(killcams) is shorting out the windows dont work properly they only roll down 1 inch(fileshare) and many other problems. When I call to ask about getting things fixed I’m either completely ignored or given a vague answer like “We might be able to fix that in sometime.” How long is sometime 1 month to 2years? I think most companies would try to fix the problems or get me a new car or they will have a bad reputation and nobody will want to buy their product. Which is how I fell about any new DLC/Halo 5 +6

A car with faulty things could probably get you killed. One does not simply buy a video game and expect it to have no bugs or problems.
And isn’t there a Q&A likely coming January?

Children also tend to act out when they don’t get the amount of attention they need. If you ignore them then of course they’ll act out. Thus far that seems to be 343is modus operandi.

Perhaps. Then again, I’m fairly certain that they (most of them) aren’t children; there should be better ways to handle this kind of stuff, but the first thing they do is make a thread telling 343 how much they suck and what a terrible company they are and whatever else. Heck, when I told them the best way to approach this would be to capitalize on 343’s willingness to add in more options for CTF like dropping flag and disabling pistol, in a respectful, professional way, I was basically told “NO, THEY MESSED UP AND DESERVE TO BE RAGED AT!”.

But whatever. As long as 343 gives people what they’ve been asking for, there’s no reason to complain.

I didn’t expect it to have no bugs but to have so many that I cannot keep track of them unless I make a list and save it somewhere is not acceptable. The more I think about it this looks like Microsoft forced these guys to release the game so early to compete with COD and now we are basically play testing for these guys and pointing out so many bugs. I’m not sure is there a Q&A coming out? What/how many questions will they be addressing? Will we know what problems they are aware of? Which will take priority over others. And yes problems with a car can get you killed but after so many years of making cars don’t you think they can put a working radio in. This is what tests are for. It’s obvious some products get better testing and others get rushed out and may hurt people/the companys rep

They still come here and don’t comment. Those haters your talking about are telling the truth halo 4 does indeed suck and 343i are leaning to the “classic arena style halo 1-2-3 gameplay” in halo 5 idea and not “codified reach gameplay”

Oh I know, I never said it was 343’s fault. Just that it was a disaster. I do think however 343 is trying to pass it off as a trial, which is just ridiculous.

any yet Frankie posts on sites like Neogaf (Halogaf) and talks there.

343 just doesn’t care about the community in reality, they don’t care about what we have to say.

If I worked at 343i, I would be issuing a royal two finger salute to a lot of people who call themselves “fans”. More like enemies… Good for 343i… Most of these people suck!!!

> One guy here said that Halo had an awesome community once, and I literally laughed.

I’m with you there. The Halo “community” has always been one of the most obnoxious around. In all my time reading the H2, 3, Reach and H4 forums, I can’t say I saw anything I would call awesome.

ITT: Failing to take into account that most of those games were already released (and likely had some degree of backlash) while Halo 4 is a newer release.

But Black Ops 2 is also a newer release and yet there seems to be less complaints… because they are content, they got what they wanted.

You know Microsoft’s new game Wordament? bs angel is #2 for the day out of everyone! Thought that was interesting.
