They are now bi-annualizing Battlefield & Medal of Honor to “keep up with Call of Duty” alternating between the two games.

So, really, 343i is not ruining Halo. They are not turning it into CoD. They are only adapting the mainstream features of most FPS.

You can start calling BS when 343i starts crying they didn’t make money and shutting down servers.

Well Halo is a cash cow so of course sales are not a problem. I don’t see what a dying franchise like Medal of Honor has to do with this.

dont the EA online passes come in the game for free when you buy it new?

EA has always been a piece of crap. And yes, it comes with the game, but if you rent or borrow the game you can’t play online.

fair enough i didnt think of that. cant buy it used either i guess or else you’re just paying the same in the end when you buy the pass

i dont think a thread bashing EA to make 343i look better really belongs on this forum though

Well, I’m trying to say that there are a helluva alot worse companies than 343i and alot of the 343i hate is just biased Bungie fanboys that don’t like change.

Halo 2 changed drastically from Halo 1. I still bought it and loved it. You see, people don’t hate change, they hate change that they view as bad.

One example, the addition of sprint makes it easier for enemies to escape, makes maps unnecessarily large and favoring of long range weapons, and due to base speed being nerfed to compensate strafing is pretty much non-existent in this game. How anyone can justify this as a good change is beyond me.

What ever EA is doing let them and their community worry about it, it has no relevance here, stop trying to justify the things 343 has done wrong but pointing out faults of another gaming company.

I dont believe Microsoft isnt mentioned yet in this blog. Microsoft has the wipe on 343i to get there games out fast.

Thats why you dont buy the copy used…Plus any mulitplayer I pay for, with EA, has been a solid, not Half -Yoink- effort like the game we call halo

It sounds like you already have your mind made up, someone can provide you with solid information onto why 343 is NOT a good company

-No Community communication
-“14 day trial” cover up
-releasing an incomplete game
-extorting players to buy xbox live to play the game at its full potential [Spartan Ops]
-Releasing a map pack 1 month after release that should have been released with game, instead, charged money for it

But no, were all religious zealot kiddies that don’t have solid facts to hold our own entitlement, after all were wrong and you’re right.

I started off with a clean slate for 343i, ever since the release of Halo 4 has driven me down the road im currently on.

Stubborn fools that beilieve “theyre doing right right thing” because thats what you were told theyre doing, is so naive, and I further push you to mature your mindset rather than littering my eyes with your biased filth

Just because you have a grudge against EA for charging for multiplayer passes doesnt mean you can compare to 343.

PSN=Free poor quality service
XBL=Premium fee, Good quality service

343 multiplayer=poor quality service and maintenance
EA Multiplayer= Good quality service and maintenance

Blizzard and WoW have weekly server downs for maintenance to make the game glitch free and cure any problems that come up. Sometimes they take longer than expected

343 also has server downs, But your’e simply not online when they do it, as its early in the morning
