Tired of putting 4 rockets into warden and tank and doing the most damage and not getting rewarded for it 50% of the time. i should be getting it every time im doing that much work. even when i should a tank round at him, its giving it to the other player who put a plasma pistol shot in him. how is that fair? nope, must be changed. the last person to kill him goes to team for points but all who do damage at the last 5 seconds get the kill for commendation. that is clearly bs when i swear he dies after the tank round but it awards it to the guy with small arms. either we both get it or no one does. i know i sound a bit PO but this is the 10th time i killed the warden i should be getting points and commendations unlocked but instead its giving it to people who arent putting in the same amount of effort. so it shouldnt be going to them. I’m okay if all the people that contribute at the last few seconds of the bosses death getting the reward. so multiple people getting legendary boss kills which i have seen happen where 3 got reward for a single legendary boss kill. but there were 5 shooting at the boss so technically all 5 should be getting the points. i too feel guilty when im not doign that much work and i steal all the credit for a kill. i dont feel that is right i feel all should get the points. not just the people who happen to be the last hit, it should be the last few hits. even if that means the other team might get more req points to buy stuff. im okay with that. i think whats fair should be fair. you helped kill him you should also being rewarded instead of screwed out of your reward because someone who point less time just got the last shot in.
What needs to happen is you get points off the legendary bosses by doing damage. You should get awarded after doing a certain percentage of damage with the kill credit. This bull where some guy puts one round in from 300 yards away and his team gets all the points is bs. As you do damage, you should drain points off the legendaries.
Leaving the little bosses as is would be fine
Sometimes it actually gives the kill to the wrong person though, I’ve shot the 150 banshee boss when it was at half health then ran off to do other stuff and when other people kill it I end up getting the little legendary kill icon pop-up. As well I just played a game where a guy did the full assassination animation on Warden and some guy who was shooting him with a ghost got the kill.

you mean like battlefield where there is points for kill and points for damage. oh also gears of war does that too, way better too aswell. there should still be reward for killing for all players but the people that do must damage get more points.

first off, holy -Yoink- i had to look that up i didnt know you could even assassinate him. thats a cool animation i just looked at. and 2nd, wow that is bs, being reward for doing damage but not the final kill. ya exactly why i get so pissed and stopped spending too much on killing the warden because of it. i think it should be like gears of war style where there is points for everyone for the kill, but how much damage you do gets you more points so for example if two peopel kill him and get 100 points, but one person did 30 vs someone did 70 the points would be liek 130 and 170 so both get points for the kill but one player that put the most effort get more.

Yes, but reserve the last 50pts for kill shot so it`s worth the enemy team trying to steal it.
I agree that it’s really annoying that only the person who kills the target gets all the points. I had a warzone match where my team would just beat the crap out of the boss only for the other teams scorpion to come around the corner or a sniper take it out at the last second 3 times. I would like some recognition for the commendation for the warden kill, since that only registers if you get the kill shot apparently.
But that said, I also get why it’s all or nothing because then people could just do X amount of damage and then just walk away knowing whoever gets the kill they still get their points. It would undervalue the legendary bosses since you have to commit a lot to killing them.

it is because i did it myself. i just did it last night i did about 20% damage, walked away because i was getting shot at. killed the guy trying to kill me when i went to go back someone else killed it but it gave me the points and said i killed him. idgaf who finishes him off and gets to points for their team like warden 150 pts. i dont care if they do but i think everyone should be rewarded for the amount of damage they did plus who ever got the kill. if you have played gears of war they have a perfect system. every amount of X damage you do gets calculated as Y points with Z points added if you kill boss. so if 3 people are shooting the boss lets say 2 blue 1 red and 1 blue guy does 50% damage and the other blue does 10 and the red guy does 40. and the guy who did 10 dies before killing the boss, the red and blue guy are still alive and kill the boss. the points go the blue guy who did 50% gets 50pts for damage, 100 points for kill and the other blue guy that did 10% only gets 10pts, and the red guy that did 40% gets 40 points and 100 points for also killing him. so total is 150 for 1st blue guy, 2nd blue guy gets 10 pts and red guy gets 140 points. but because the red guy got the final bullet in that hair split difference when the boss died, the team awarded the team points of 150 for warden kill goes to red team. Its seriously not that difficult to get.

Yes, except the 1 blue guy that didnt get the kill because he died before that happen only gets points for damage. see how when they get a kill the points are marked next to them. thats how it would work. Gears of War 3 - Horde Mode (Waves 1-50) - YouTube kills assist etc those medals have points so killing boss medal points are awarded for those that participated in the kill. but who ever gets the final damage hit on the boss the points for the game for the team go to them. these are just points for you to rank up for higher Req levels ingame.
