When you die and drop something, its terrible just to see your teammate walk right by you and an equipment or weapon. I wish we can move our camera around and ping the item or enemy while. Plays in voice chat will already call out positions and weapons. Give non-mic users a ping while dead.

Nah. Grab a mic IMO. Call outs are key.

I get what you mean, but what I’m getting at is if your avatar is dead in game, until it respawns it should not be able to relay any information in game to your team
nothing we can do about party chat/game chat, if anything I like those things and want to see it used more and giving peopel the option to ping while dead makes can make the use of mic’s even less prevelant

Well they can… but only once and then they’re stuck pointing.

This is pretty much the best option. If you really want to communicate with teammates go on mic. Text chat technically even works you just gotta type fast.
Personally I miss the days of proximity chat but things like party chat and discord ruined that.
people still don’t listen even with a mic.
