It is too damn small, there is so much more space that could be used, we can’t even touch the eh mountains without activating a kill barrier. Can you please please PLEASE add a map like forge world from reach sometime I the future, thanks.

You can’t predict every potential map build by yourself, can you?
Yeah certainly the heights don’t always cater. Also it’s a shame the boundaries are not cliffs, either going down or up. Means we have to use budget to create a boundary everytime. A little extra space would be nice. I get something like forge world would soak up potential budget space though.
Not tried parallax yet… Is it bigger?

Ha, it’s easily the smallest canvas because why not!
I have to say the forge canvases really let me down, I would understand if the limits where at the edge of physical terrain but it honestly looks like they just cut it off half way on most of the maps… why not let us go deep underwater or right to the edge of the cliffs or even to the bottom of the cave? and why is Parallax the most empty map with the least to render the smallest?

My issue isn’t necessarily that the maps are too small (they seem huge once you drop into them) but it just annoys the hell out of me when I am trying to move around objects and the kill barriers are counting down

I’m fairly happy with the maps. Sometimes I’d like them to be a little higher but no big deal. Sky dive slayer or something lol TM;)
After a taste f forge world… I understand the feeling of loss. But I’m happy we’ve moved on from Halo 4 sized maps. I’m loving forge, can easily live with the maps.

Problem is there seems to be very little vertical space also whats wrong with racetracks? the best forge maps I ever played in Halo have been casual fun game modes and silly maps in fact I am not sure if I ever played customs on a serious map.

The canvas size is extremely disappointing. The map height is just pathetic. And those kill barriers are the most annoying thing ever. I have been killed countless times simply by accidently flying too fast toward the map boundaries. It will say return to the battlefield in 10 seconds but if you go just a little too far you die instantly. What a load of garbage. This also happens to me every time I get in the Banshee on Headlong and its just ridiculous. Why not make it an invisible physical barrier???

I ran out of space for my banshee battle on parallax, I wanted to have a long range dogfight map with 2 carriers on either side of the map that you flew out off. I could make it smaller but it wouldn’t be how I really hoped it would.

I could do that but I really wanted it to be in space with the Halo floating around, is there a way to make people die if they touch the ground by getting out but wont kill the banshees if they touch the ground?

Well the map isn’t getting any bigger.
No the maps are pretty tiny, look me up and download Varsod 2 (I know, weird name) and load it up on forge mode. Also, why is the physics taken up so much by natural objects but not blocks? theyre both phased and have lighting effects. I cant max out the object count because the lighting skyrockets in no time, even without actual lights.
The maps are massive. The perspective from the monitor makes things look small. A 32 X 64 x 4 block looks like a nice pathway but when you observe a buddy on top of it, it’s actually really massive. If you linked one side of the map to the other it would literally take like a minute to run across it lol. Realistic sized maps are such a small fraction of the maps they give you. Put some time into forge before you complain. Perspective has been altered.
If you built from top to bottom in parallax it would be like three times the height of ivory tower. Trust me, these maps are absolutely massive.
