You Need to Calm Down

Halo Infinite is a good Halo game that lacks content and polish. Let’s focus on those real issues as opposed to “skill-based matchmaking makes this the worst Halo ever!”, “the Mangler needing to be nerfed makes this the worst Halo ever!”, and “the Mangler needing to be buffed makes this the worst Halo ever!”

You need to calm up.

  1. SBMM is a problem that has been plaguing Social MM forever. It sucks and it makes the gameplay experience bad.
  2. Mangler is not a problem, just move it to a red rack. Pro/MLG players should -Yoink!-.
  3. Alot of weapons need buffs. They are underused or have no place in the sandbox, and that’s not good.
  4. Maybe 343 should have worked harder on their MP content before releasing. 3 maps for BTB is not what I expected for 2+ months, and not to mention BTB being actually broken for almost 2 months now. This is unacceptable from a AAA company of 343’s size, and I highly doubt that 343’s entire Campaign team was also working on MP, meaning MP team definitely slacked the hell off after 15 Nov launch.

Halo Infinite is a 10 year plan, but we don’t have that sort of patience to get things fixed.
Fix it this month or I’m giving MCC my attention. Or literally any game that isn’t half broken.

You’re being too loud

The real issue is this games troubled development. It’s riddled with problems. The forums are rampant. If 343 delivered on the experience things might be different.

And I’m just like oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

You need to just stop

ok I will stop quoting the taylor swift song “You Need to calm down” now lol

This is what we get with a F2P game…

That’s an opinion…

The Infinite sand box really is very cohesive and well tuned, and it feels good to play in,. While I have enjoyed a lot of things about Infinite multiplayer and campaign, we have seen through MCC how well multiplayer systems such as progression, cosmetics, customization, playlists, modes, custom games and so on can be implemented, and what Infinite gives us just aint it. While campaign gave us some new awesome things, I feel that its format makes the game seem even smaller than previous titles, because due to the open world design there is less intricate detail in things and the world seems less lived in compared to previous games, and then the few linear levels that exist seem copy pasted to the extent they were in Halo CE, which was my number one gripe about CE, and the extent that so many story lines and elements from Halo 5 were completely ignored in Halo Infinite really upset me as well, because I wanted to know how those story lines and characters fared up to infinite.

So while there is good about Infinite, I am also really disappointed in what it lacks, especially due to how well 343 showed us they could implemented MCC, and due to how much time 343 had to develop Infinite. I had high expectations, and 343 really had so much good going for them, but I guess I will just expect them to be yoink going foreword and have low expectations, I certainly will not defend 343 anymore.
