After finally deciding to make the jump to xbox one (based almost entirely on the prospect of halo 5), I realize the night before I’m about to go out and drop $500 that there’s no -Yoinking!- split screen! WHAT IN THE ACTUAL -Yoink-?!
The only reason I can find is they claim it’s so they can maintain 60 fps?? Who the hell cares? Am I the only -Yoink- person who grew up having halo parties? So, you mean to tell me, that if I want to have a halo party with 16 people now, I need to get together not only 16 people, but 16 consoles and 16 televisions too??
I play halo with my brother weekly on split screen. He comes over for this sole purpose. What the -Yoink- am I supposed to do with this game???
I don’t care if I get 1 fps, the absolute best way to play halo is with your -Yoink!- FRIENDS IN THE SAME -Yoink!- ROOM, which is now -Yoinking!- impossible. 343, pull your heads out of your fat rainbow colored -Yoinks!- and GIVE US BACK SPLIT SCREEN. I, for one, will take every sacrifice in visual quality, performance, you name it so I can play with my friends. I understand gamers by nature tend to be a shy crowd so maybe you developers over there don’t have any people who actually enjoy your company and therefore can’t understand this, but -Yoink!- you think about it this way: if halo had no split screen from day one, it would have crashed and burned. No one would know what the -Yoink- halo is today. It probably never would have had a single sequel. I’m so -Yoinking!- mad I wish I had the balls to go to best buy tomorrow and instead of buying halo 5 to just burn every copy they have.

No need to start throwing around the profanities. The game has been out since October of last year, if you did not know by now that the game did not have split-screen then its your own fault for not reading up on what you were buying.
OP, your reaction is completely appropriate and justified. Just consider yourself lucky that you found out before making the investment! Some of us weren’t so lucky.

No its not justified, he can be mad all he wants but swearing up a storm and yelling profanities is almost never justified.
