Ok, picture this… You and your best buddy (lets call him Mr. Blubbers) are playing the new firefight map on November 15 right? All is normal, the announer says “good work spartans, no other assets could have gotten this done” etc right? Then just as the screen starts to fade, you hear that hellish voice saying “Did you think we were defeated!” Flood start spawning and infecting the corpses of your enemies and you must fight off the flood with your remaining lives. It would be dark, no more weapon drops and the flood are in -Yoink- kicking mode.
I like the idea. Especially with flood mode activated if you achieve some sort of stat/goal or attain a high score in firefight, it’ll activate flood mode.
It would be awesome if implemented, but I don’t think it will ever happen lol

I… I don’t know what to say. Too much epicness. I could see a giant flood meteorite come crashing into the large forerunner structure on the map. The sky turns shades of orange, gray and green. Dead bodies start to twitch and rise up from the ground. A colored fog makes its way across the map. You are left to scavenge for what is left of weapons and ammo and try to fend of the battle and pure forms of the flood. What is left of your AI teammates wander off and all you can hear are their shrieks and cries for help…

It started getting cheesy as soon as the Flood announced “you thought we were defeated”. Just remove that or change it and it will be all good.

That would be awesome. The only negative to it is that if someone just wants to play a quick game, then they’re out of luck and are forced to quit.
