… in Halo 4? Like, this is something I wanted in both Halo 3: ODST and Reach that Bungie slacked off on. Something that fuels a lot of my replayability. Something that I’ll literally search for hours on end, painstakingly.
Loads of easter eggs. On a much larger scale than Halo 3s epic easter-egg filled campaign. This means skulls, terminals and any other miscellaneous easter egg event (such as the monkeys, that easter-egg that unlocks the ninja-helmet in Halo 3, jerkstore grunt etc).
That made Halo 3 one of my favourite games of all time, for some bizarre reason. I absolutely adored the massive amount of easter eggs Bungie managed to fit in the game. I really hope 343 has put in tonnes of easter eggs and secrets into Halo 4. I want to slowly comb over every single feature of the campaign world in order to find them, like I did in Halo 3.
Please 343. Tell us you’ve put in plenty of easter eggs. :’(
Halo 3 ODST actually had “easter eggs”, or maybe they would be considered teasers. On some cars in ODST, the License Plates showed the Callsign’s of Noble Team, if that count’s. But I would love to see some entertaining easter eggs in Halo 4.

Every Halo game has had easter eggs. But none have really had more easter eggs than Halo 3.
imo the best easter eggs are the ones that raise thousands of questions and have the forums blazing with theories, but not as far as trolling as the GRD helmet in Reach, second to that would be easter eggs that tie in to the over-arching halo plot line, like Linda in CEA, or Linda/ Chief in Reach.

They also said that Terminals are coming back, which is good cause i loved them in Halo 3 and Anniversary. Theres one specific type of easter egg i want to return and thats Skulls. I hope they bring back skulls cause i love hunting for skulls.
Skulls are one of my favorite easter eggs in any game ever. I love hunting for them. Even with the online guides there are still some in Halo 3 I haven’t managed to get (friggin sandtrap D:) I liked the Reach system of being able to use all of them from the start. I think if they make a return we should be able to use them from the start, but they aren’t worth any extra points till you find the skull in the game.
I also think there should be a flag hidden somewhere in the campaign, and if you manage to find it and bring it to the end of the level it should be an Achievement. (like the gnome in Valve games) That would be an awesome easter egg.

That wasn’t easter Egg hunting, that was an Epidemic. People where trying to find something that just wasn’t there, rather than question the sights of it in the first place. (I.E; what is this helmet, IS there a way to obtain it. And not “LETS JUMP THROUGH RINGS ON COUNTDOWN FOR GRD BECAUSE GRD IS WRITTEN ON THE WALL TEHRE AND WE NAMED THE HELMET GRD!!1!1”

dude I am literally waiting patiently just to get some info about this game. Read this article showing a lot of behind the scenes things that give hints as to some of the stuff in it but still.
OT: I do to op. Personally I’d prefer if they mix 3’s campaign easter eggs like RvB voices and Reach’s minigame easter eggs
I’d love to see a Marine run to chief, say “I’m a Black Ops operative, seen modern warfare first hand and I sure can handle this”, runs into the field and dies within 5 secs in a tragic but hilarious way
Or why not a tag on the base that says “Bungie was (not) here” ^^
Anyhow, I love Easter eggs and sure hope Halo 4 has plenty, they make the campaign so much funnier
