Also I’m just an -Yoink!- that’s annoyed with his whines about Thruster and Sprint.
There’s literally nothing stopping him from going back to H5. There are alot of people who still like and play H5. We don’t have to make Infinite into H5 lite.
Well the problem is the very first clip I showed they said they I wasn’t good at the game and that’s why I didn’t get the kill.
My claim was I didn’t get the kill because of Sprint.
This is why I showed my gameplay to show I’m not bad at the game
Im asking for balance. I can literally care less if the thruster pack doesn’t come back.
This is why I said remove Sprint OR put back the thruster.
If anything I would take no Sprint over having a thruster
One could argue that sprint does that too.
In ranges where that’s an issue, I’ll use the ar before pistol to break then headshot more effectively, but everyone plays different. I noticed in one of your videos (just an example) you went to clear a tight area with a pistol instead of the ar which is better suited and in response, a dude managed to get close enough to you where you punched each other.
Exactly. Which is why I would remove the Sprint . I don’t have to have a thruster pack. It would be nice if I did. But if they can remove Sprint then I’m all for that instead
Oh yeah no don’t get me wrong, Volt’s ego needs serious checking.
But still.
I doubt sprint is going anywhere.
Take the energy you’re putting towards complaining about it towards learning to use and counter it. Maybe don’t chase a guy across the map if he’s going to recharge his shields and turn on you. You were playing FFA, let him go and kill someone else. If you’re busy chasing cross map, you’ve got tunnel vision, and opening yourself up to attack from someone else. If you had picked up grapples, just him him in the back with one of those. Learning when to engage and disengage is just as important as winning. Like everyone has said, you’re not a bad player. Just learn the new dynamics.
I hadn’t played Halo multiplayer since reach and dabbled in H4, so I had quite the steep learning curve. I still can’t snipe to save my life because I am so used to CoD and Battlefield sniping. Play, learn, evolve.
Bounce them off a wall
Tough luck, wait.
Thruster is available for pickup A side, right ramp. Go nuts
Gee willikers, this sure doesn’t remind me of Halo’s 1-5.

So do grenades, pushing up, and maybe having the patience to wait for the respawning teammates instead of feeling the need to take care of it yourself.
Like they did in all previous Halo titles before hand.
Nobody with a quarter of an ounce of game sense is going to walk out into the line of fire knowing that if they do they’ll most likely get one tapped because their shields are drained and/or their health is low. They’re going to avoid confrontation at any cost.
Once again, this is the case in every single Halo title.
I use the thruster to get side step the Sword guy. And go for a side melee,
Hell I use the training mode.to see what else I can do with the abilities.
I know you can get a get aittle extra distance on grenades with the repulsor
Watching that, I kept thinking “Why are they still chasing them?”.
I always give up when someone gets that far away.
That was pretty good aiming.
When I use the Sidekick, I can’t aim very well.
Also, I was amazed that you defeated several people with overshields.
Did you melee at 1:20?
I always melee in that situation, but the game only counts it about half the time.
At 2:38 and 5:57, that’s a problem I keep having too.
I get behind a wall and then I die.
You should’ve climbed when you were going to.
While Thrusters might have helped you there, they could have used Thrusters to chase you.
At 4:46, I’m surprised the game didn’t let you clamber.
Sprinting is fine.
It gives variety to the gameplay, just like innate Thrusters and Grappleshot would.
Maybe I’m wrong (which is likely), but I think you’re just not great at close-range battles.
At mid to long-range, your accuracy is good, and you’re doing well, but when you get within radar-range, you end up making a lot of mistakes.
Yeah, the game is very buggy at times.
I think the game has crashed while I left it in the multiplayer menu before, and its servers have been giving me a lot of disconnection errors.
It was difficult watching that since I like sprinting in FPS games.
Good game though.
I wouldn’t mind seeing innate Thrusters.
Removing the limit on the amount of times non-power equipment can be used would probably be good too.
I might be remembering incorrectly, but they didn’t miss.
That person just got to them faster than they could shoot.
I noticed that as well.
It seems like they do a lot of movements that seem to help but probably aren’t helping much.
It doesn’t count.
When you help your team, it’s an assist, and it’s not skill usually.
You just happen to be in the right place at the right time when you run into a group fighting each other.
The ground works too.
So by that logic, when you clean up someone else’s kill that they didn’t get to finish, despite dealing the killing blow… You should only get an assist?
Because that’s basically what you’re saying. An assist is when you don’t deal the killing blow, but contributed. A killing blow is… a kill. Taking someone out of the equation. So.
It’s a kill, and, it counts.
That wasn’t my point.
It’s basically the work of the team when you do that, but of course the one who gets the point is the one to land the last hit on an enemy because you can’t split it on the scoreboard without things looking odd.
That doesn’t say much about skill though.
A kill’s a kill dog.
You’re still missing the point.
I get how it’s annoying, but I personally don’t wont thrust in this game. I think it would raise the skill gap and make the game a little too fast. Heck, I don’t want crouch spam to be a thing mid combat, but that’s a bit of a different topic. I’m fine with sprint btw, feels a little pointless, but I don’t hate it. Idk, after reading some of the comments, I’d just say good job steamrolling the lobby, I know that’s fun lol. Merry Christmas.
I like games to be somewhat fast, but since this is supposed to be a Halo game, it’s understandable that not everyone would want it to be faster than it is in Infinite.
Merry Christmas.
No I wholly understand your point I just inherently disagree with it. Like, fundamentally.
I’m not sure why you would disagree.
If a teammate takes down the health and shields of an enemy, yet you get the last shot, how is that skill?
That’s like if I were to build a castle using cards, and you were to add the last card.
It’s not like that at all.
If you got the kill, your shot ended them and forced them to…
1: Respawn 8 seconds later.
2: Lose all their gear they may have had.
3: Lose their position.
4: Lose any accolades they were trying to achieve.
Sorry, that’s a kill, not an assist.
