I don’t have to hope for anything. I will not be partaking in this abomination, as I know many other long time Halo fans will also be doing.

This may sound a bit wierd, but this game may sell really really well.
Why?
Because the casuals will love it? The same people who make each COD record breaking will buy this game.
X ray vision? They will lap it up.
But they will lose the competetive sales I fear.

Thermal vision and the auger did not make Resistance 3 a success sadly (it’s a great single player game and the no perks/kill streaks multiplayer mode is cool as well).

I think it’s clear MS wanted a piece of the call of duty market. Getting the franchise away from bungie and under their direct control was just the first step obviously.
Regardless, I’m still looking forward to 4.
If any if this info is real, then 343 can’t even be called professionals. They’ve made the best FPS (which was more than just a game for many), into some crappy rip off that will be forgotten within a couple of months even by the casuals. My only hope now, is that there is an MLG playlist which functions more like Reach or 3, from day one.
After I know some facts I can only say:
I cant wait for Bungie´s next game.
Even if this leak was real, I’d still buy the game. I’m mostly buying it for the Campaign anyway.

Come on 343, do you listen to your fans? Because all of these -Yoink- that you add (Armor no longer cosmetic? , Perks?, RANDOM WEAPON SPAWN?!?!?!, Medal Points in Slayer?!?!?!, etc…) does not make ANY sense in a Halo game and HAS TO GO! If you continue to add things like that, the game is gonna be for Casuals-only and ALL of your Competitive players WILL GO!
PS: Taking X-Ray vision would be a rip-off of Resistance and Blacklight. Prepare to be flooded with fans that are raging.

If this is all true, I may not buy any more Halo games.
I have been playing Halo for years and this is kind of a spit in the face to true Halo fans.
Some of the things suggested are NOT what Halo is nor meant to ever be.
I <3 seeing new features but not ones that fundamentally effect how the game is played.
