So i was stuck with a dicotomy. I have a Spartan Laser. WZ is almost over. now i am attempting to kill the warden at the last inch of health but than i see an enemy mantis. Both of which i need progress on. which do i kill? I knew that it was going to come down to one possibly. So i thought fast and that i only have time for 1 shot. so i go for mantis since mantis are harder to find and kill. When i try to destroy it i get more than i could ask for.

I wasn’t even in the position to do any damage to Warden so basically he killed Warden but because i killed the enemy mantis it took his kill as well and gave it to me. Now I’m quiet happy but i am probably certain the player in the mantis chucked his controller at the TV for sure. All i heard after that was “-Yoink- this -Yoink- game” after the cutscene and than left lol
I’m glad i got to kill 2 birds with 1 stone but I know if i was in his position I would be furious.

nice one. But I think he didn’t really kill the warden, but his explosion caused by you did.
It appears that the Warden’s health was practically 0…so almost anything, like the ricochet of a grenade, or an explosion in this case, awarded you the kill…
odd because it doesn’t look close enough for there to be damage from radial explosion. but also it looks like he had no health for a while, while i than hit the mantis with a Splaser. either way. it’s one hell of a mythic kill. Definite top 5.

thanks man. i was really stuck on this tough decision. the conundrum of which to go for and instead i got both. a Halo 5 moment i am going to save lol.
Did something like this the other day. Guy came and tried to take our hunter kills, and he got the 1st and was working on the 2nd and I got him with a mantis. Explosion from the banshee killed the last hunter. I wonder what the vehicle blast radius is and how close it is to a grenade going off. I don’t remember it being like that in other halo games…

I’ve found myself getting made kills from the grave after i saw the name go off. something is screwed up with the kill detection thing or whatever.
