I am soo happy about this!!
The second link doesn’t prove finding skulls at all.
Any proof besides an IGN page that’s more than likely based on an assumption?
Not saying they wont be findable, but I’m going to need more proof, ESPECIALLY because there are no achievements for finding them which is odd.
If there isn’t an achievement for finding skulls then I don’t care.

You, sir. just made my cry…cry manly tears of manly joy!!!
It was pretty much a given.
Though I did doubt they’d have to be retrieved, since they’re apparently the same boring old 13 skulls from Halo 3. I’m guessing they’ll be a walk in the park to find since there’s no skull achievements.

Just for that post, I hope they are ungodly hard to find. >:}
I don’t think that’s sufficient proof that you have to find them.
I find it doubtful since there’s no achievements for them, but I would still love to have to find them. At least we get the Domain terminals.
I hope the reason there are no achievements for thew skulls is because they are godly to find and get, and that 343 didn’t want to make the casual gamers have to pull off incredible stuff to get them game to 1000 G.
If they are given to us straight out, it would be some what of a disappointment especially since they went to the hard work of implementing them in Halo: CEA.

Sad day indeed when people think this. So achievements should be the only motivation of finding game-altering items?
Halo 2 didn’t have achievements, but that didn’t deter from the overall fun of finding skulls.
I hope you can earn secret armor permutations for finding certain skulls in the Campaign. Some of my best moments playing Halo 3 was when I looked for the silver skulls with my buddies to unlock the Hayabusa armor.
Assuming this is definitely true, this is awesome news! Finding skulls was always incredibly fun, I’m excited to see it return.
This was confirmed like 7 months ago. Why are people freaking out?

Grabbed one Skull to glitch out, another for Camo, and one because I accidently found it. Nope, I didn’t care about the Skulls in Halo 2. There was no motivation really for spending the time trying to get them. Especially when you turned off your Xbox, and the Skulls turned off.
I didn’t search for any of the Data Pads in Reach because there was no reward for finding them. And if I wanted to know what they said, then I just went to YouTube and read them.
I’ll get them all in Halo 4 because 1) Just to have them all and 2) There’s an Achievement for having 3 of them activated. But why there’s no Achievement for finding them all is beyond me.

If they made us find them in CEA, then they’ll definitely make us find them in 4.

Agreed

Doubt it. Every collectible since Halo 3 has had achievements(terminals, skulls, audio logs). Halo 4 has no achievements for skulls.

Omg people must stop using that old joke. It makes me wrinkle, and I don’t have any.
