Things that we need to get there are as follows!

  1. Get rid of the toxic KD system and replace it with a honest and loving/caring points based system.

  2. Make the multplayer seperate from the Campaigns story/Lore where we can create and test new tech/weapons/mechanics in the future etc.

  3. Create a truly emerssive customizational armore page somthing like Amour mode a take from Forge mode but where we can get creative with our clan armour/skins creating a true identity etc.

  4. Playlist that are ballanced and well stuctured for every individuals player count and preferences.

  5. Well thought out maps designed with adequate spacing ! truly designed for Spartans not Human cant stand hitting my head on those tiny doors !
    Maps that are bespoke for the game type like FFA/doubles for instant’s Lets respect the space and not just turn it into a moshpit lol

  6. Get rid of the pick up system for equipment and let the player choose what he or she earns through badges system to get power advantages eg:killing spree/Perfect/overkill/team assiste spree/reversals or if points based system it could be how many point in certain time frame area you coverd etc
    Its endless you could earn a power weapon for your efforts also but it would have to be a frenzy or somthing but at least the badges have more of a purposes other than esthetics i can understand weapon being a pick up but equipment i feel is an over kill unfortunately!
    If a player can earn a power weapon it puts a nice ballance to the mix for those without a team to control spaces around the map brings a beutiful dynamics to the battle field.

Finaly a in-depth rich carnage report that truly identfies what actually going on so we can team up with better suited player for your style and vision.

Oh and bring back the Rail Gun please :face_holding_back_tears:

already off on a rough start since Halo CE - Reach were built as party games that grew Esport communities. but ill let it slide since 343’s adamant on changing this :confused:

technically there is a point system. its on the leaderboard during matches. furthermore, how might you tally these outside games? Points Per Game? (PPM) if that’s the case, are you gonna show what activity you do that gives you the most points gathered, like captures or kills or assists? In turn wouldn’t that cause more toxicity, as if someone looks at your stats and it says you get more assists, that’s prime trash-talking ammo.

Not really sure what you mean here? technically infinite’s MP is separated from the campaign. or are you asking to be completely separated. I’m talking timeline levels of separation. it “could” work, but at this point if you just forget about the MP story line, you don’t really have to worry about it, as imma be real the MP story is pretty weak.

so this I’m a little confused on what you mean. are you asking if people can craft their own armor? tho it would be cool, like have little cosmetic contests and have the community be able to participate in creating the next official armor to be added, but again don’t really see 343 doing something like this.

or their own coatings or emblems (which is a bit more feasible). this…isn’t all that bad of an idea IMO, however since this is a F2P cash grab, its going to be monatized, which will probably deter clan making.

I mean this is just a general want for any game. nothing to really criticise ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ /¯

again, refer to above. maybe 343 should bring in well known Forge map makers so they stop making 3 lane maps. and for maps for specific game modes shouldn’t be gigantic. FFA should be chaotic and doubles should be you, your bud, and 5-6 other teams fighting, in turn it would be a moshpit lol (map size maybe medium?)

aaaaaaaaaand this is just asking for CoD. I’m not gonna repeat myself since I’ve said this like 8 times. if you want a better fix, stop with the weapon caches and their random weapons. its more balance to have static weapon placements, with power weapons in specific areas of interest.

Frankly since this is a CoD request, go look at 4. you got peeps wanting that, but the player retention of that game shows it didn’t work. in turn asking it back won’t fix anything

as fun as this gun was, its probably not gonna come back. it was essentially a rocket launcher sniper.

If you want a success, i don’t think making an established franchise chase trends will do it. you want halo to do good, you got to think like halo back in the golden era. as in how might it add to the formula. frankly the personal equipment like the grappling hook, in infinite kind of adds to this formula…but its a decade late :confused:

Yes we do @RadiantRock13 and yes i also appreciate how many pages there are lol and its great but i feel theres allot of info/truth that need to be highlighted like who assisted who in the process of the win or loss if its a team based game i feel the stats should ruly reflect that it should be there for everyone to see it helps with building team
who got killed by who also is missing.

Well yes @OnsideMammal94 only if the teams are even with chemistry which is very hard to achieve here ! it would require a highly adapted algorithm which im sure 343i have not achieved yet.

As it is now if you are on your own you can search for a 4v4 rank and get matched up against a stacked team of chemistry lol and weapon placmnet becomes a headache which leads into a 1 way traffic situation you just never get the weapon because of the unbalanced teams! so for that reason we need to switch and bring a ballance! a new dynamics that is been begging sins launch.

We need to be able to earn our own choice of advantages and not be bullied into the pickup let us choose our strengths this is just one way to make Halo truly competitive.

I do find Halo favours the gang of bully’s for some reason i guess we will never know why lol !
This needs to change being ganged up by bullys is not ballanced we need to truly be fair give us our powers back 343i so we can counter this bullish culture

Well that not whats actualy happening most teams dont stray from the pack ! and tend to flex there chemistry as its hard to come by now days if you have order in the team its a huge advantage and need to be factored into the qol.

There will always be an upside and downside as you mentioned what we have to keep in mind is we are creating a competetive inviroment where players can achieve their true potentual and having intensity that’s essential in keeping the game interesting and to have that addictive expression we are all longing for.
its not that players like me are trying to make it a COD game because thats stereo typing!
Its what a spartan wants to feel and is trying achieve over his or her’s experience over the years .
Just thought to add i never realy played cod! I would like to think i am a Dedicated Halo player from way back and still going strong lol

What needs to be added and where do we stop until it become somthing not the same we have to find that sweet spot i guess!

2: Just allow campaign and customs be to done offline

3: Clan coatings is something too. Though I don’t think coatings should be rid, maybe bring back the customizable emblems instead. Since, those are so forgettable in Infinite since they hide behind attachments.

4: Just allow us to choose our modes. If you want quickplay, allow us to toggle which one we want to search for.

5: Allow more open maps that engulf the player in the field, like Blood Gulch or Valhalla

6: Sounds like the Ordiance system in Halo 4 Nada, I didn’t mind it but I don’t want to hear more coping from the community about it.

7: Overall allow us to view ours and enemy reputations

Ok apparently this isn’t satire so let’s go through it point by point:

1- KD ratio is one of many data points that determines performance. A K/D ratio isnt even displayed anywhere in-game. Score is also kept track of. Objective game types prioritize objective specific stats on the scoreboard. I’m not even sure what you’re actually talking about to be honest. How is a data point more “loving/caring” than another? What is “toxic” about a K/D ratio?

2- are you saying you want more weapons/mechanics/etc in multiplayer than in campaign? As it stands the opposite is true. Every piece of equipment has upgradable functionality in campaign that doesnt exist in multiplayer because it would be OP, ruin balance, etc. Same goes for weapon variants.

3- two reasons this will never happen. If everyone can truly and fully customize armor then 1- they cant sell anything, which is crucial for a F2P game. I’m not saying thats good or bad, but it’s a reality. 2- you really think any company is stupid enough to let people have full freedom like that? Look at the downside: people are going to make armor with genitals, offensive symbols, etc. Combine that with a F2P game and its pretty tough to account-ban that stuff away.

4- sure. No issues there.

5- not really sure what’s being asked for here. Maps are designed with the player model’s size as the basis. Show me a place where a door is too small and you hit your head on it? Of course maps should be designed to fit game types- and well designed maps fit multiple game types. This already exists… more maps that fit the bill would be great though.

6- this would be spitting in the face of what halo is all about. Rewards-based weapon systems reward better players more heavily and punish weaker ones. Not to mention map design becomes barely relevant any more as there arent any crucial locations to control/attack because of weapon/equipment spawns. The game gets FAR slower and more campy. It becomes COD. If i wanted to play COD, I would fo that.

Carnage report- the post-game scoreboard does have a ton of that information on it. I’d love to see additions that mirror MCC’s carnage report though, especially the “Tool of Destruction” and “Killed Most/Killed Most By” fields. Those arent very loving/caring bits of information though.

That’s got to be the MOST toxic and anti-team mentality stat line that could possibly exist. Why would you want to give crummy people insight as to who they can say “yeah and you only got 1 kill without my help, you’re trash” to?

in that case, what about players that are not good? are you saying using a points system will get them into the toxicity as i said before? besides I wanna be serious, how bad of a toxic environment has a KDA been? I not saying toxicity doesn’t come from it, but I feel changing something that’s been around since the 2000s that other games also still use is redundant. + again, technically we have a point system.

also want to add that Xbox/Playstation/Steam have this lovely ability where if someone is hounding you. you can block block them. And if you don’t want to queue up with the same people backing out and going back into a playlist resets search Queues…wait my bad, infinite does that after every game, so you might have to switch to an entirely different game mode, if I’m correct

Is it though? you mean to tell me a group of people passionate for both halo and making a game, and offered to make an actual official game, wouldn’t work together to bring back what made halo good? 343i from the looks of it never had peeps like that. I say this cause of how these games are in some form of development he 11 (yes I’m counting the fact that their games shipping without content as a form of it)

first, you can always just do LFG if you want to work with a team. might get a bad egg here and there, but you have to at least try. furthermore this is kind of a case by case scenario, dude. by this logic, we should assume that every other team we’re against, be it in any game, is just a esport clan. but even then, are you factoring in that not all 4 team fireteams have good chemistry? or that there are players that can solo 4 player teams? the reason why weapon placement was a thing was essentially for attrition. where each team works together to push for areas of interest (EX: the plasma caster on Blood gulch in Reach).

again, halo wasn’t conceptualized to be a competitive game. it was made as a party game, which lead the fanbase to form a competitive circle. assuming it as competitive means every player has to play as if their life depends on it. gone are the days were you cant just drive a warthog with one of the opposing team players spinning around and shooting the gun. or t bagging the ground in front of them not shooting with them responding followed by you two not fighting.

ok so let me answer this in a few standpoints

  1. giving everyone the ability to “counter bullies” let it be random drops or loadouts or ordinance or req cards, it also means you give said bullies those counters. give players loadout creation? Metas such as boltshot or ordinance rerolls or [insert other metas]. give everyone kill streak like ordinance? overshield/explosive weapons. Req Cards? 2-3 team members can overpower one player with high level guns while they boost themselves. Random drops? no reason to pay attention to map layout.

  2. I want to be serious, I’ve been playing Halo since reach, good 10 years under my belt. looking at your service record, you’ve been around around then, maybe a bit longer. how Bad is bullying here? like I get every community has it. there is no way of escaping that, but saying “well we need to cater the gameplay to stop this” won’t work as you think it might. I ask this because it sounds like the fandom is as toxic as every rendition of Blighttown from the Darksouls series put together

  3. 343 DID do these changes for Halo 4 and Halo 5. and history shows that player retention tanked within the first year, frankly first few months. in turn don’t you think that means something’s wrong?

I’d say they don’t wanna be a trend setter I guess, but Halo started a trend so… I can’t grasp how this conclusion was reached. Literally, not being facetious. Would actually like some help on an explanation.
