It can’t be that hard. Bungie was doing it and they were making another game. You guys own Halo now. You want to continue Bungie’s legacy of community involvement, fix your -Yoink- and continue to give Halo 3 the love it has earned.
You’re not going to get anything with that attitude, mister…
Blam!

two very important things:
#1) You do not own 343i thus you are not their boss, they don’t have to listen to you.
#2) It’s not rather or not it’s hard, but where it is on their list of priorities, which right now, is damn low. Getting Halo 4 finished and out the door is their top priority, adding Reach’s file share to their site is second in line, and then every thing else.

I wouldn’t go around talking like that… just a thought…
To be fair, I don’t think bungie was making changes/upgrades to their halo 3 stats section while working on other games…it seems like they did most of their stats setup pre-launch and then just let it chill.
And there are still a bunch of bugs with Reach’s stats section on waypoint, so I don’t think they’re ready to expand on halo 3. Though I believe 343 is receiving all the new halo 3 stats now; so if they ever decide to do something the stats will still be there. For now, though, they just want those stats to be kept secret.

No, right now as you said, there are bugs and issues here and there with Reach’s current stats section, and hopefully this summer when they add the file share, the fix and change things in the Stats section as well.
I’m just saying it can be that hard to still keep track of Halo 3 stats. Many people still play the game and are accustomed to having a website to visit occasionally to check Halo 3 stats. That’s the sole reason I joined Bungie.net 4+ years ago. I just don’t want to see 343 abandon Halo 3.

You have to put this into though really, they have Halo 4 coming out in a few months, they are working on a massive site overhaul for that, as well as trying to perfect Reach’s stats to be on par with Bungie’s stats.
Halo 3 stats aren’t a top priority right now, it wouldn’t surprise me that in the future, after Halo 4’s release, they would then focus on making some in-depth stats for Halo 3, but not now.
I understand it isn’t in their top priorities, but I hope by 2013 we can have fully functional stats history for Halo 3 just like on Bungie.net. You have to understand Halo 2 had the stat tracking until it was shut offline. It would suck to be one of the last halo 3 players and not have that history to show.

Yes, exactly. Bungie only stopped tracking Halo 2 stats because Microsoft shutdown the servers to the original XBOX system games. We are talking about Microsoft here. 343 is a part of Microsoft now. They have the resources to track game history on a current generation console regardless of the fact that they are working on Halo 4.
No excuses.
> No excuses.
Excuse or not, it’s what they’re telling us, and there’s nothing we can do about it but wait and see.

… so your thinking what I’m thinking right? Ok, we’ll attack at 0600 one day we’re bored… lol.
Spend some of those Microsoft dollars and keep track of Halo 3 and ODST stats please. Thank you.
Any word on stat tracking for Halo 3 yet?
> Any word on stat tracking for Halo 3 yet?
If it gets announced, you will know about it, they have no plans to track Halo 3 stats or ODST stats, and it is likely they won’t for the remainder of 2012.
i understand that H3 stats are not priority now. But i also would like to to have full access to my stats. Everybody that loves Halo, loves to collect medals as well, i guess.
One reason i started to play Halo full time was the opportunity to collect medals + stats from every game that i ve played. It was nice to see, getting better and better by the time. Halo without stats is not Halo. Stats made that game so awesome for me, when i played it the first times.
I just want that 343 makes a stand. They should just telling : “OK beloved community, all your stats will be fully available in summer 2012, none of your Perfections lost…” or they should tell: "Sorry but we have to inform you, that the stats tracking for Halo 3 will be stopped.
Is that such a big problem to announce that?
Why letting the people clueless?
Just a few sentences and the rumors will stop.
sorry for my english,my german is way better:)
I’m becoming impatient.

You have been given an answer from a Moa, you may not like it, but if you direct your attention up a few post you will see what Im talking about.
You should most likely accept that stats may never be tracked for Halo 3 again and if it turns out that they are, then you will be pleasantly surprised. Patience is a virtue and might be required in this case, perhaps indefinatly.
