Okay, so as of today from all the complaints Amazon had been getting they decided to give the Limited Edition Preorders the Preorder Bonus! I was one of the many who was told that the marketing team decided to not add the bonus to the Limited Edition because the would have to sell quadruple the amount of daily sales that they had been selling. I had saw this and contacted the employee from the marketing team who had told me this and he had this to say,"…because of the mass amount of negative feedback we had been receiving because of the promotional item we had nothing to do other than to add it to the special edition of the product."
So now because of the communities out roar we are not getting shafted for wanting to purchase a more expensive version of Halo to show your true fandom. You guys rock!
That’s awesome. Never underestimate a fanbase as a whole! It’s also a good thing they listened, let’s not forget that. Some places would have ignored the feedback, unless it were killing their sales.
Is it just for Amazon, or for everyone? It would be pretty cool to have them all in the Limited edition.

Huh? The issue was that originally, Amazon was not going to give pre-order bonuses for the Limited Edition, only the standard edition. Due to public outcry, Amazon was basically forced to make the Limited Edition eligible for the same pre-order bonus as the standard edition. This only has to do with Amazon’s pre-order bonus, not the actual contents of the limited edition or any other retailer’s pre-order bonuses.

Pre-order bonuses don’t matter too much in the end. Sooner or later they will all be available for download anyways.
