Why don’t you get something? You have to put up with -Yoink- tracking for enemy’s and the game deciding to kill you for no reason…
You get “Forging a Legend”
The main rewards for completing Halo 5 on Legendary are Forging a Legend achievement. In addition to that, if you complete the campaign on Legendary solo, you will get the Lone Wolf achievement.

As an achievement junkie this was all I needed, but I must admit an Armor, Emblem or Weapon skin set would have been nice especially considering how unpopular the actuall campaign was. I also always thought the same for collecting the intel

I do consider the Legendary completion icon to be a reasonable reward. In fact, the length I can go just to get a the Legendary completion icons can just be a bit impressive like playing through Spartan Ops in MCC twice just to get the Legendary completion icons as the I didn’t get the completion icons from my first playthrough due to a glitch.
The achievements are fine. A helmet or something would be neat, but not needed.
In MCC you win the Helioskrill, but the problem is that they underestimated the armor by adding others and putting that in a REQ pack
This is just why I NEVER recommend playing through the Halo 5 campaign on Legendary, especially if you’re doing it on solo. You get no real reward other than achievements that give you 210 gamerscore for completion on Legendary difficult (not counting co-op), and besides, it’s just not worth the trauma and frustration. I did this game on solo Legendary in 2018 and I now fully regret it.
Playing a Halo campaign should be a reward in it’s self, however halo 5 is not lol
Still haven’t done it yet.
I’m totally ok with no reward for completing this campaign on Legendary.
It might be the easiest Legendary campaign.
You get achievements, I did it solo, it would be cool to have had a reward but it’s been 5 years so it is what it is.
Hello, a few moments ago I finished the Halo 5 campaign in Legendary mode, but it didn’t give me any achievements, what can I do?
Halo 5 doesn’t have an incentive, there’s no armor unlocks like in the previous titles.

Exactly, its -Yoink-.
You know, now that I think about it, the Hunter armour set (the armour worn by Locke) should absolutely have been the reward for completing Halo 5 on Legendary! I think it makes sense. Locke is the main character of this game, after all. I know the armour was offered as a pre-order bonus or something, but I feel it would have been better like this. The pre-order bonus could have been something else.
Like Sgt. Johnson’s hat.
I hope we get somethiing for legendary in halo infinite. Once infinite comes out, I’ll be playing legendary to see if theres any unlocks.
You get bragging rights on your service record n an achievement, just like the old Halos
You get the legendary badge on your service record in game! So everyone can see you had nothing better to do for a few hours
Not much mainly just bragging rights but the lone wolf wallpaper is pretty sick.
