You ever have a game that's just shocking?

I’ve just had a game where the ememy team crushed us so quickly I was lost for words. Within twenty seconds we were 0-15 to them, and within less than four minutes we lost about 15 to 100. I kept track, and none of my lives lasted longer than 8 freaking seconds. Everywhere I turned, there were enemies with power weapons, vehicles or they were in pairs. Scoreboard towards the end. And then naturally I was put into a game against the same team next game, so of course I quit that one and waited until there was no chance I’d join that game again. Call me out all your want for that, I’m not standing for another game of that -Yoink-.

These kind of games are just a given, if rare, occurrence but they still kinda leave you stunned…

I try to stay away from any playlist with the word team in it, unless I am in a fireteam. Tried BTB once kept getting killed, no fun, never went back.

Yeah, I’ve had games where team mates quit out leaving me alone on the map to play 1v4. Oh and you can bet your -Yoink- that I reported them. Quitters ruin the game for everyone, well except those who continue to kill the only remaining player.

Those games happen every so often. I’ve had a few Strongholds games where we win 100-0 within the first few minutes lol

Speaking of that, there was 1 game a few months ago where I was 1 v 4 in a slayer match and 3 of the enemies decided to be awesome and not kill me. 1 of their teammates would still try to kill be but they would protect me and betray him if he tried hahaha

Oh wow wish that happened to me. I just get, well the opposite of your situation.

I agree with this, however sometimes I cannot help but think about whether or not they lost connection. Now before anyone jumps up and says that rarely happens, no it happens frequently to those of us outside of the U.S. E.g, last year when I used to play a lot with my spartan company (when Griffball released for example, and when Arena ranking system was updated) a lot of my friends in my region (Australia) would suddenly lose connection to the match, then get a screen saying connection to dedicated server lost. This sort of thing happened too frequently, many of my friends within the region therefore quit the game. This happened to me as well, a lot, especially this one very close and intense CTF game Ill never forget, LITERALLY at the last second, as I was escorting my team member to break a tie breaker to score the flag, I lost connection! Right at that moment! It was not a one off thing either, it happened to me many times playing arena, to the point where I have barely played it since. Now, I am not saying all quitters lose connection (they’re in minority) im just stating my personal thoughts when I see the quit notification, and remember the amount of times ive lost connection.

I’m outside of the US. in the UK. It seems to me that a lot of quitters when I go back at their stats have a negative K/D or are losing. Still not a reason to screw over the other teammates. I really wish when worst comes to worst a give up or forfeit system is introduced to prevent remaining players from leaving then getting a kind of harsh ban considering their lack of enjoyment of a game.

Or to prevent people from reporting people with genuine problems a message comes out like ‘lagged out’ or ‘experiencing server issues’ rather than just disconnecting. Disconnecting could be anything.

I was shocked to find out when I joined a match in progress.

If you mean shocking in the way that I dropped a toaster in my bathtub because of it, yeah.

I had a game like this except they were waiting near our spawns with railguns, instant killing us within seconds.

Had a JiP match yesterday. I was actually on the winning team and we did very well. I got a rampage medal. (I think)

I had a game when everyone quit on my team except for me.

shocking like your team is up 149-0 in btb strongholds and your trash for teamated blow it and you lose 149-150?

You mean EVERY BLOODY GAME OF BTB IVE PLAYED RECENTLY?!
