Watching no commentary gameplay made me notice that you still get the “100 points” upon getting a kill and the lesser amounts for other things. Issue obviously being, why is that even displayed if there is no real progression? Unless those points is us earning small amounts of Bitcoins which is quite the business idea.
I want to say this makes me hopeful that 343 is indeed planning on doing a proper progression as they already have this points thingy in place but just could nit get it ready in time, for whatever reason, though I really dont get that.
Speaking of the gameplay, it pains me more and more that game will have no true progression at launch as that is my deal breaker when the game itself does look really fun and slick as hell, but no progression in 2021 simply kills it for me. Obviously theres been discussions for days about this issue but I simply hope they can figure something out eventually.
