This forum site is almost unbearable at the moment. Of course everyone is entitled to share their own opinion, but this forum is flooded with complaints about core features of the game, the types of complaints and negativity that wont help the future of the game.
So instead of creating a bunch of new posts about how much you don’t like the game, and instead of making those posts the most popular, lets get the community back to talking about things that matter- what 343 can do to fix and add to the game. Criticism is essential, but if “Halo is officially dead” then why even waste your time on the Halo 5 section of the forums? Its quite redundant, and a bit moronic to be honest.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. Meaningful discussion is the only way to improve the flaws of Halo 5, not mindless hate. Everyone has an opinion, but there should be a little more depth than “Halo is dead!” A few questions someone should ask themselves before posting criticism.
What feature do I want to criticize?
What about the feature requires critique?
What can I suggest to improve this feature in the future.
For example if I was talking about the Halo 2 Needlers in its transition to Halo 3.
I want to criticize the needler.
As a duel wield weapon it is largely overpowered due to its ability to too quickly achieve supercombine.
Make the weapon only useable as a singularly wielded weapon like the BR and increase the rounds required for a supercombine kill.
I started a thread on constructive warzone feedback if you would like to contribute any thoughts or suggestions as to how to improve warzone. got some good discussion happening. Hope it stays that way and doesn’t become home to yet another flame war.

I disagree. An issue that can’t be fixed for H5 can be fixed for H6. Take split screen for example. Split screen will never get added to H5. However, the best way to ensure split screen is back for H6 is to be very vocal about it now and throughout H5’s lifespan.

That’s a fair assessment. Don’t get me wrong, even though I agree with the viewpoint of these kids throwing tantrums, I don’t agree with the way they are going about expressing their views.
You dont like criticism? We get it. Seriously these threads are worse than the non constructive criticism ones. They offer nothing to the game and are just whining at people posting on a forum. Its the same bad thing as non contructively complaining about the game just with the sode of the argument changed.

You’re obviously blind to see what I’ve said about criticism then.
The “Halo is dead” threads explain in depth why it is dead. Therefore if 343 were to actual look into the flaws the so called “haters” mention, the game might actually become better.

It’s why 343I goes to the Reddit for issues. Example, the Aiming Bug was brought up here but 343I didn’t respond because it was people complaining and not actually addressing the issue or anything.
Reddit addressed the Issue, ran test and even found the root of the problem and 343Bravo actually commended them and addressed them that the team is now aware and is going to fix it.
This is something the Halo Waypoint community was, and at the moment can’t, able to do

No ive read what youve said and your complaining helps stop that how? All these types of threads are doing is causing actual pointless complaining about criticism threads, sure a lot of them may be going about it wrong but the underlying point of the feature theyre complaing about it is still there.
