I mean did anyone pay attention to the date after you die before the credits occur? When Halsey or Cortana is giving that speech? Most likely Halsey. What 343 needs to do is go back to Reach. Make Blue team stationed on Reach or something. It would be nice to go back there were it was glassed and apparently recovered. Maybe The fall of Reach is hinting to that.

Reach was truly before Combat Evolved timeline wise, even though it wasn’t the first game released. The book Fall of Reach occurs at about the exact same time as Halo Reach, but focuses in on a different set of characters.
