You Currently Get less Experience From Playing games after the Progression Update

always love seeing people cry about 343 because they cant get a halo 3 clone. 343 and us all know the progression system isnt good, thats why they said this is a band aid fix and they are working on making a new system. But hey you guys keep posting about how number company is bad and bungie good.

Yeah but they can easily fix it.

Just add 2 more daily challenges that are concurent with the base 50 per match. A first match of day and first win.

I didn’t play yesterday … I’m already behind. At the back of the queue!

Not bad ideas, but I think wins need to be a repeatable challenge. As it stands now there’s no reason to win. It’s actually better to join games that are almost over and just left the enemy finish winning in terms of time commitment to xp payout.

Good point.

Personally I think 100 XP with a 50 XP bonus for a win is a great temporary measure. I hope 343i reevaluate the current updated system soon - it is not great long term for the health of the game, and I have not seen any recent communications from them that it will be updated further - which worries me.

Hopefully, they’re probably riding it out until next week. They already reset challenges once, and I get the impression they can’t change anything without resetting them again.

Just hit level 50 in battle pass and still can’t get this Destroy an Enemy Scorpion weekly challenge done, because I never find any, and if they do spawn, my team has it, or someone else destroys it. That should say a lot if I’m this far in BP and can’t kill one tank

I have only seen a scorpion 6 times in my 150 games.

also how the hell are you level 50 in a battle pass in one week. That alone says it isn’t slow.

He either bought the 25 skip pack, or he plays A LOT, or has a ton of 2xp from things like Monster.

Assuming he isn’t using 2xp, let’s just do some quick math. Let’s also assume he’s completed all his weeklies. One level with no boosts, that’s currently 20 matches. Let’s also assume 10 minute games. That’s 200 minutes, or 3.33 hours, for a SINGLE level. That’s pretty absurd if you ask me. Sure, you could play both matches for faster games, but that’s still a little insane.

You also have to consider that the weekly challenges reset once already because of the changes. That won’t be a common thing, you’ll get 20 weeklies per week as opposed to the 40 we got this week.

I’m at 19 and have used a few 2xp boosts and have probably around 120 matches played so far, so that’s a little more of a realistic measure. Even still, for that many games, I’d probably be way higher in a game like Apex at the same point, where games could be around 17-22 minutes, so the time addition isn’t really a huge difference.

I did buy the skip battle pass, and I used 2xp on every challenge, and finished all the weekly challenges before reset and yesterday, except for this one scorpion weekly I can’t finish. I have a ton of 2xp from pringles and rockstar I bought cheap in bulk since I normally buy them at grocery stores or gas stations anyway, and it was cheaper to buy bulk on Amazon. Still, that doesn’t make the challenges good or the BP system good. They suck. I just have an advantage in getting ahead. For anyone without skips and 2xp boosters, they should still be below 10
