> The community that hates Elites in multiplayer (me being one of them since Halo 2) is unfortunately for you larger than community who loves them.
> You had your fun for three games, now it’s time for us to finally enjoy enjoy halo without this annoyance like we could in Halo CE.
Are you kidding? MOST of the Spartan-playing community either likes having them there to shoot at, or doesn’t care, but thinks Elite fans should be supported just like Spartan fans. It’s a VERY small minority, much smaller than the minority that prefers Elites, that wanted them gone.
That and in Halo 2, Elite players suffered a massive DISadvantage, not a very tiny, but probably fixable advantage like they did in Halo 3. So I don’t see how it was an annoyance having enemies out there that were slightly easier to kill. You sound to me like a tryhard who lost one to many games and had to find something to blame. So you would blame the probably ONE Elite player on the enemy team, who may or may not have even done well.
Some (like myself) who have been playing as an Elite since 2004 (2005 for me, but that’s when I first got Halo 2). Some have literally based their ENTIRE HALO EXPERIENCE on the idea that their fictional character is an Elite, and for the first time we WOULD HAVE been able to actually do that more effectively, by customizing our loadouts with Covenant gear, instead of being stuck with ARs, and BRs.
Anyway, it really feels like we got the short end of the stick just because a few people get butthurt about losing games they probably would have lost either way (Proof: Reach. My Reach stats blow my Halo 3 stats out of the water, but apparently I had some godly advantage in Halo 3, that I don’t have in Reach? Lolsure). That’s right, you’re the whiney kids on the playground that made it so we weren’t allowed to bring our gameboys/pogs (90’s kid?) to school anymore because you were jealous you didn’t have your own.
“It took me 6 BR shots to kill that Elite! It must be because he has an advantage! Not because of BR spread, bullet latency, or poor aim!”
“It took me 6 BR shots to kill that Spartan! It must be because of BR spread, bullet latence, or poor aim because he’s not an Elite!”
Sounds silly to me.
