You can wait a couple more days for forge.

With all the complaining I’m the forums, I got to thinking how long we’ve actually waited for Forge and thought “Wow, wouldn’t it be stupid of people to start complaining about the release date WHEN IT’S COMING THIS WEEK?” Honestly, after two months now you’re gonna throw a hissy fit? Keep up the great work 343.

Yes, we can. But you know why people are complaining? Because 343 is making us guess the damn date. We know it comes this week, but is it tomorrow, is it Friday, maybe even Sunday?

They should have just given a release date, and this whole date fiasco could have been avoided.

<insert inspirational halftime speech telling players they can do it, they can wait, Halo players have had to wait before, and we’ll wait again, again and again until those COD players are confused (for multiple reasons)>

I don’t care about forge. I’m looking forward to the rank reset though.

Yah, that is quite irritating, I’ve never heard someone refer to a week like they just did unless something significant was happening that day, like saying “the week of July 7th.” It’s entirely misleading.

Maybe they don’t know the release date until it’s done?

But I don’t want to. :frowning:

Not really, because if 343i gives a very specific date and the update ends up getting delayed for even a day? Everyone will flip out. Just be a little patient.

It’s really not as big of a deal as you or anyone else are making it out to be. Yeah, I wanted forge today too. Yeah, it’s disappointing that we didn’t get it today. Should 343 have been more specific with the release date? Maybe there’s a reason they can’t be. Maybe they don’t know the exact day it’ll be ready, just that it’s some day this week. Or maybe they’re just being buttholes. Who knows?

Whatever the case, people need to chill. As much as people don’t want to hear it, they don’t have to tell us jack, and whether that makes them jerkoffs or not shouldn’t affect people as much as it is.

The truth is this whole fiasco was caused by the community. I promise you you’ll be much happier if you stop worrying about it and just live your life. It’s okay to take a breather and go do something productive or something while you wait.

They didn’t say a specific date because they’re releasing it as soon as it’s done with certification testing. Other companies will get their DLC/updates certified, and then they’ll set a date and wait till then. They’re literally going to release it as soon as they possibly can, be patient guys.

People get mad because a typical 343 release date looks something like this: “the next content update will come the year of January 17th at 4:37 PM” My point is that they sould not give a date until they know a date. The anouncement should have simply said forge is coming next week. This would avoid confusion.
