I want to get the challenges of master, but not anyone know if you can still get the recon? Thanks 
Not anymore unfortunately, 343 stopped giving it out quite a while ago and don’t have the ability to do it anymore. A quick search of the forums will give you similar topics on this subject. You can get it in the Master Chief Collection version of Halo 3

Mods baby, mods. Just mod the game for it or play MCC.
Modding however can result in banhammer. But if it doesn’t affect gameplay, who cares? Doubt Mircosoft will.

No. To unlock it using the VIdmasters you had to earn all 7 achievements then head over to your bungie.net profile and click the unlock button Sadly that feature no longer exists and was the only way to unlock the Recon armour via the Vidmaster challenge. 343 unlocked the armour for everyone for a limited time and stopped doing so September 2013. As stckrboy said, 343 no longer have the ability to unlock the armour for those who don’t have it .
Im pretty sure its given out randomly every once in a while, but they might have stopped that now
As Phil and I both said above, 343 have now stopped giving out Recon. The only way to get is is via the MCC version of Halo 3. It won’t be unlocked for the 360 version of Halo 3 any longer

You probably won’t get Banhammered.
Bungie gave the community a chance during the wake of odst which was vidmaster, but that was ages ago.
