Hey users, quick guide for PC players here.
The game is loading during the deafening 20 second-long game intro, but it only takes about 5 seconds to load.
Luckily, you can save your hearing and a bit of time by closing Halo Infinite before navigating to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo Infinite\videos, or D:\Games\steamapps\common\Halo Infinite\videos if the installation is on a secondary drive.
If you’re on the Xbox app, you need to enable viewing hidden folders then navigate to
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Halo Infinite\videos, or D:\WindowsApps if the installation is on a secondary drive.
After this, you need to delete intro.mp4 and if you want to load the game in the main menu, you can delete Startup_Sequence_Loading.mp4 as well, if you’re worrying about deleting these files it also works to move them into a separate backup folder.
At this point, you can launch Halo Infinite and it should plop you right into the main menu, no deafness and less loading. Hopefully this helps someone and good luck with your challenges!
