You Can Patch MCC But Not Your Old 360 Games?

It’s amazing how Halo can announce they’re releasing a patch for MCC yet can not be bothered to fix their old 360 titles, and people say “Halo or 343i don’t bother with old games?” Your kidding right yet MCC is old too and still find the time to patch this.

I doubt any Halo / 343i staff even visit these forums to be honest knowing a game they made backwards compatible, Halo: Reach knowing it’s full of bugs and many people needing the last achievement “A Storage Solution” and the Halo Team fail to even notice the amount of users asking them to release a title update, surely they can take an hour to patch this? The numerous times I’ve tweeted out to the Halo team and 343i and basically ignore so much for putting the fans first, typical of big companies.

Just fix this game and it’s achievement(s) I think the Halo community are sick and tired for you guys not to do anything or even answer the community knowing full well people can’t complete the game.

The Master Chief Collection had so many issues. They probably figured it would be easier to make the older game backwards compatible.
Most of the actual issues were server-side anyway. Network code might’ve been bad, maybe the servers they set up for the game simply weren’t able to handle the game’s traffic.
Maybe other issues too.

In the future be very careful with buying any of their games. Support isn’t their strongest point. I am very curious to how Halo 6 will be, because 5’s story was ridiculous and it made not even want to touch 4 (as I haven’t played that yet)

Interesting discussion,

In regards to this I’m rather curious and forgive me for my lack of knowledge because I’ve been elsewhere in gaming titles.

Halo Reach. Are most users playing on the backwards compatibility for Xbox one or they directly playing from Xbox 360?

Can you only play multiplayer online from Xbox one or from both systems?

Otherwise, I just really want to get back into Reach. I’ve played 343i stuff, but some reason I long for Reach’s gameplay and multiplayer more than halo 5 at this point in time. ( Not to mention Reach has more gameplay options and extras 4 and 5 never really had.)

Its crazy really. I mean from 2010-2015. Over 5 halo titles have come and gone. Halo 5 is almost 2 years old and since halo 6 is unknown to me for release, I’d figure Reach would be a nice throwback for the rest of this year and 2018 if H6 isn’t out by the end of 2018.

I played from my Xbox One last month, but sold it eventually because I was only playing Reach. I asked my 360 back from my cousin and now i’m back to playing on 360.
It really still feels like a great game! Hit me up if you ever want to play

Thank You for the info. I’ll definitely look into putting my 360 back up. Don’t get me wrong Xbox one is fine, but if there are any bugs - why not just use the 360? I’m grateful I still have mine. Reach is truly a fantastic game and for me it was one of my first multiplayer experiences to have done well since I didn’t have the Internet speed or connection back before the game launched.

Otherwise, when I get some free time, I’ll definitely hit you up. Thank you and I’m glad reach is still playable for online even after 7 years.

Yo!
Halo & 343 Industries finally listened to us & fixed the issue with the achievement “A Storage Solution”. It’s now obtainable. I just got it yesterday.

You’ll get a few “Upload Failed” in the beginning but keep trying multiple times till you get the achievement. I got it that way.

Yes, I can confirm it now works. On a Xbox 360 Slim it will take two attempts but unsure on the backwards compatible version, a few I’ve heard.

Just saying, but halo 4s story is lightyears better than halo 5s.

Its also lightyears better as a game OH DAMN

(I am so sorry)
