On dewxp.com you can now add your double xp to your gamertag. I guess it doesn’t really matter as the game isn’t out but you won’t have to wait until you play a match first. You can just go sign in to your xbox live account and apply the matches right now.

You could put the matches on the website on the 15th. <mark>You couldn’t apply them to your gamertag</mark> though. You can now sign in on the sign with your gamertag and add the matches to your account.
Apparently, I’ve got a red modified Spartan with mostly Recruit on and a Blue visor.

I Signed in to my gamertag, and maxed it out as soon as the site was up. maybe it was different in different places, but i could do it on the 15th

In order to assign and use XP Matches to a Gamer ID/Gamer tag the Gamer ID/Gamer tag account holder must purchase the Halo 4 game and log into Xbox LIVE gold War Games mode prior to “pushing” their XP Matches to that Gamer ID/Gamer tag.
There were a bunch of issues that arose from people who pushed their Double XP to their account for Call of Duty before they played a match. Many people had their Double XP forfeited. Some could no longer add Double XP. Some had to wait weeks and make many calls for their Double XP to be given to them.
PLAY A FEW GAMES BEFORE YOU PUSH YOUR DOUBLE XP
Do yourself a favor and just wait a couple matches.

I was able to do it from the 15th, not sure if it varies between location or something… heres proof

I was thinking the same thing. I put 38 matches on and then I was like… hmmmmm maybe I should just wait.
