In case anyone was worried you can check my gamer tag on Xbox live and see that I unlocked the multiplayer achievements for halo 2 on PC this year in 2017. While you cant search for games over the live system since the servers are down you can still connect to live and all you have to do is go into a custom game with 4 guests on your PC to get all the achievements. Just send me a message over live if you need any help with it but I keep seeing this topic come up so I can help walk anyone through how to do it.
Again you can still get every achievement for halo 2 on PC, you can tell by my gamer tag I’m an achievement hunter when it comes to Halo games and I love helping my fellow Spartans!

Its alot of steps to write out so its much easier to talk through everything on how to set up a custom game with yourself and get the multiplayer achievements. I’ll try and find something with the steps later though to see if I can help that way.
Sadly, no. The only multiplayer achievement that can be obtained is the Hired Gun achievement.
How to do this:
Complete the campaign on Legendary difficulty, which earns you the Legend achievement (Have fun with that. But seriously, learn to play the map [Find areas where you can hunker down and peek out from], and ALWAYS keep a plasma pistol handy with some sort of rifle, or dual-wield with a pistol.).
After completing the campaign on Legendary difficulty, load up a custom game (whilst connected to Xbox Live) and commit suicide; you will be awarded the Hired Gun achievement
2a. Why this works: When you complete 2., you “kill” yourself, and since you have the Legend achievement, you completed the requirements for the Hired Gun achievement.
I think i have replied to everyone in this thread who sent me messages but for those who I havn’t check out the below video for exact steps on how to unlock ALL the multiplayer achievements still. Yes this works because in halo 2 for PC you could always unlock achievements in custom games so even though the multiplayer servers are down you game still get the achievements by playing the custom games with yourself since GFWL still connects to xbox! =D Let me know if you have any questions and you can see by gamertag that I got the multiplayer achievements not to long ago by using this method and I’m not very computer savvy at all. lol Happy hunting!
*for the overkill achievement you will have to kill your three guests and wait for one to respond before killing the next which was the hardest for me but on a small map with a bit of luck you can do it! =)

Could you help me? I know how to do it but I have problems with the cheat engine values… I’ve tried everything and I don’t understand what’s going on
Woah old post. lol I’ll be honest I’m terrible when it comes to computers or cheats or anything but the youtube video breaks it down step by step and has the exact download links you need in the description. I don’t even know what html stands for to give you some perspective on how inept I am with computers. lol Just follow the guys step by step instructions and you should be good to go. =]
(make sure you download the old versions of the engines needed and not the latest updated ones for example)
Some of the achievements are tricky being alone but all are doable as you can see from my service record. Happy hunting!
