You can bring back 5 classic maps...

From Halo CE-3 for an imaginary ‘Classic Map Pack’, which do you pick?

For me it would be:

  • Cold Storage
  • Gemini
  • Sandtrap
  • Relic
  • Foundation

Hang 'Em High
Foundry
Construct
Lockout (I know, it’s back as Shutout)
Guardian

Mine are all blindly obvious.

Wizard
Lockout
Midship
The Pit

After that I’m torn between Battle Creek, Turf and Terminal. The latter two are personal preference rather than competitive merit.

  1. Lockout
  2. Ivory Tower
  3. Ascension
  4. Midship
  5. Turf

I forgot about the pit! Halo 3 had such amazing maps…

LOL at people who think that maps can fix this broken game. You’re in denial.

  1. Sandtrap
  2. The Pit
  3. Terminal
  4. Headlong
  5. Zanzibar/Last Resort

Battle Creek
Wizard
Chiron TL-34
Foundation
Foundry

For big maps
Boarding Action
Sidewinder
Hang em High
Rats nest
Sandtrap

Id rather the smaller maps however due to the DMR. It would make many of the big maps hard to enjoy but these are maps i miss

Sorry you do not like this game.

Are there a lot of things I could nit-pick about? Yes, of course. But I think for 343’s first game, Halo 4 is good overall. It is a lot of fun to play. I did prefer Slayer Pro because I am not a fan of the randomness and luck that ordinance drops bring into a game, but I hear its coming back. Until then, I’ll keep playing swat.

Maybe it’s just because I have returned to Halo from Modern Warfare 2 - Black Ops 2 and see what putting little effort into a game results in. All those games had major game-breaking glitches in them at launch.

Halo 4’s graphics are top notch as compared to COD too.

Maybe I have little expectation out of video games outside of playing them to have fun, meh, IDK.

You’re in denial for being on the Halo 4 section of the forums lol

OP your picks are just terrrrible, sorry needed to be said.

@MIKE RTR - I couldnt agree more

battle creek
hang em high
blood gulch
corvette
hang em high

Guardian
Narrows
High Ground
LAST RESORT
Epitaph

Invisible snipers RUIN Halo 4.

None. They would all play crappy in H4.

-Sandtrap (elephants and good vehicle combat)
-Sandbox (epic forge space)
-Avalance
-Standoff
-???

provided of course, that these maps were re-configured to work with Halo 4 better

Not once was this even implied by anyone

> OP your picks are just terrrrible, sorry needed to be said.

Your opinion couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. BTB was absolutely perfect on Sandtrap and Relic, Gemini and Foundation were some of the best small symmetrical maps I’ve ever played, and Cold Storage went hugely underappreciated.

I think there’s a part of the Halo community that is shooting themselves in the foot by being so negative about everything. the above post from Mitch is a great example.

I for one think Shutout plays nice as a Lockout remake. I don’t see why others wouldn’t be as fun.

We don’t live in a fantasy world where every game is made to our 100% satisfaction. God knows Halo Reach was awful to me, so I just stopped playing Halo. I didn’t complain about it.

What we CAN do as a community is accept that changes happen, and find what we like about the game so they know what they did right.

Complaining can have an affect, but it needs to be done properly, not with hostility or resentment.

I would think with Halo having roots back to what, 2001 or so, that the median age for the community would be in their 20’s and know how to act maturely and appropriately.

  • Sidewinder
  • Hang em’ High
  • Lockout
  • Turf
  • Warlock
  1. Standoff. My favorite big team map out of all the Halos.
  2. Headlong
  3. Construct
  4. High Ground
  5. Sandtrap

Blood Gulch
Boarding action
Terminal
Pit
Waterworks
