This achievement seems pretty straight forward, but unfortunately I’m having trouble getting an Invasion game on “Breakpoint”. Any suggestions what playlist I should try? I’ve been playing on the Invasion play list, but it’s no good. Any pointers?

You’re pretty much sunk. Since the Premium Playlists were removed and moved to Squad Battle there is no place to get it besides Invasion.
The only effective way to get it is to get 11 of your friends with the DLC and play Invasion until you see Breakpoint.
Hmm…that sucks. I hate to ask, but do you know anyone willing to help or yourself? Obviously extra controllers would help.

I ended up getting this achivo a LOOOOONG time ago (back when Noble Map Pack playlist was around). All you have to do is get to the second phase, deliver to the bomb to either Alpha or Bravo wall and prevent the Spartans from disarming the bomb. Once the bomb explodes, there’s the achievement.
I can see it is harder to achieve now seeing how Breakpoint hardly ever shows up on the standard Invasion playlist and i haven’t seen Breakpoint Invasion show up in Squad DLC so i must assume it is NOT in Squad DLC (seeing how Invasion is an objective gametype and all).
Then again, the playlist IS on probationary status. Feedback on this site could possibly see it removed and improved with objective gametypes and what not.
If you really need the achievement send me a friend request and if you ever have a party of 5+ and need extras msg me and I’ll play. If you have any less than say 8 players you have pretty much no chance getting Breakpoint.
Just make alot of noise to 343.
