I’m sure we all know by now that you are the reclaimer. Not big news. But if you remember well, near the end of halo 3 343 quilty spark says this: “<mark>You are forunner</mark>, but this ring is mine!”.

But there’s more: In the new teaser trailer master chief drops his gun as if he doesn’t need it, and I think I know why. Watch this leaked video:LINKY!!!. If that purple guy is Master chief than that means he has forunner powers!

This changes every thing.I can’t help but think that this will play a role in halo 4.

Forunners are ANCESTORS of humans, they are not human.

If 343 introduces “powers” (eg telekenisis, biotic powers, “The Force” etc) into Halo then IMO Halo will be ruined. One of the reasons I like the Halo universe so much is because it lacks the fantasy elemements other games have.

Forerunners and Humans are completely different species. They fought a great war against each other thousands of years ago in the timeline.

Humans are “forunner” because humans are the inheritors to Forunner technology.

That is what really attracts me to Halo; how everything has a sense of “reallity” and is understandable. After all yes it is fiction, but mostly everything looks like things that can actually be achieved, such as shields and power armor, even the Halo rings - the ring array however…

From all the intell I got.

There was once a race called the precursers they created humans and forerunners in there OWN image but of coarse with slight ajustments.Eventually the forerunner obsessed with power killed the precursers. (After years they had forgotten what had happened to them and wondered where they went and why (idiots)). the flood came took over some human controlled planets so the humans in need of more planets took over the defencless forerunner planets witch pissed them off so as punishment they de-evovled them and put them on Earth (and unknowingly destroyed a cure for the flood that the humans developed). Anyways the forerunners are not our ansesters. and that is why we are reclaimers because we share the same base DNA

Well about the hole Flood cure thing, turns out that the Flood can chose to not infect and is really just the “Judgment/punishment” of the Precursors.

It doesn’t have to be the Didact. Many humans could have a Forerunner geas in them.

None do though. We don’t even know if Forerunner “memories” or “spirits” can inhabit a human.

Doesn’t the 343 Guilty Spark duplicate say that some of the crew members of the UNSC ship had a geas of some people he knew as Chakas? I don’t know if that’s true, I just read all the Forerunner history on Halo sites a few days ago.

It’s still Chakas, never once is he ever confirmed as 343 Guilty Spark. And yes, Chakas refers to fellow humans, Riser and Vinnevra, so not Forerunners.
