So far we have two confirmed armor cores in Halo Infinite. The Mark VII, Mark V Gen1, and the Yoroi. I wonder, will the Yoroi be added upon with new armors in the future or is it a one-off special? What do y’all think?
If we’re lucky, yes. If we’re even luckier, we’ll be able to mix and match with other cores as well. At least for certain parts like shoulders and helmets.
It’s going to really suck if we can’t mix and match. Because over time I doubt the devs will go back to old cores to add more stuff, they are more likely to add new cores with new pieces than for event-given cores like yoroi. I would hate for them to end up as basically just skins.

I honestly don’t think we’ll be able to mix-match cores. We’ll know for sure next week most likely, but yeah, I think it’s separate. It does suck, it’s not as bad as it could be but yeah. If i’m being completely honest though…I’m kinda glad you can’t mix-match when it comes to Yoroi. Seeing armor sets that were meant to be a set, like Achilles, Helioskrill, and Yoroi being mixed with armor that doesn’t quite fit the style just looks very wonky in my personal opinion. It’s not my choice and that’s my personal opinion. That being said I do wish you could mix-match regardless, that’d expand the possibilities of personal customization even more.
