yoinks should be the same as Showstoppers.

now, im ok with yoinks, but only to an extent. you should only be able to yoink BEFORE the knife enters the victim, just like showstoppers.

I don’t mind if i get yoinked tbh it’s annoying but still only 1 kill? Just follow round the person who yoinked you and teal their kills

it’s still not right. why should we have to kill someone before the knife enters the victim to get a SS, but not a yoink? its punishing good playing, and rewarding bad playing.

Hmm i guess to a certain degree but perhaps you shouldn’t assassinate enemies if you’ve got teammates near by

Na showstopper is if you save a teammate, whereas yoink is more of a free for all type.

no, you can Yoink a teammate

Only time I oink is if I have been working on the kill and a teammate tries for the assignation as I am about to get the kill shot.

no thats just stupid srry but it is

Yes, but there is a difference between taking a kill, and saving someone’s life. You can yoink any player, but you can only showstopper an enemy.

Some people Yoink on purpose, so i say that they should make both players invincible to Yoinks until the Assassination is over of course

> Some people Yoink on purpose, so i say that they should make both players invincible to Yoinks until the Assassination is over of course

No, not at all. It’s the player’s desicion to show-off and perform an assassination instead of a simple beat-down. And, if he must suffer the consequences, so be it.

You are absolutely right about this. It’s not very often but sometimes it is completely obvious when a player is intentionally stealing a teammate’s kill. Especially when it happens just a moment before the assassination is complete. They just stand there watching then BAM! Well, this is probably not going to be very popular but… when it is very apparent that a teammate has intentionally yoinked my kill, I betray him/her. I look at it as taking back what they have stolen. If I get booted, oh well. I dunno if I am on board with the invincibility thing though.

Something I’m not clear on though. If I’m blue and a red is assassinating a blue and I betray the teammate getting knifed… That counts as a yoink and a betrayal? seems kind of silly if that is the case.

That, my friend, is being a bad team-mate. You’re really no better than the Yoink-er. While the Yoinker is contributing to the score, you are removing from the score, directly, and indirectly. When you betray, it removes a point. But also, in the time, effort, and ammo you used trying to kill your own team-mate, you could’ve used it to kill an enemy or two.

Yep, I know what ya mean. I guess the solution to the way I deal with ill mannered teammates is for them to be a good teammate and everything will work out nicely. I am Sicilian, and Sicilians do not take kindly to getting punked, if ya know what I mean.
