The cR cap could go up at any point in the month. Grow up you brainless drone.

Quit maxing out your cR on a daily basis and it won’t be a problem.

This. It has been my long held belief that if you are reaching the cR cap a lot, you have too much free time.

As a nova I hit 120k in about 3.5 to 5 hours. It’s to easy to max out in the higher ranks.
cR mean nothing once you buy everything in the Armory. Unless 343 is going to start creating new armory items why is everyone so jazzed about a cap increase? I’m an Eclipse and I can’t hit the credit cap unless I played longer than 5 or 6 hrs. And that’s only if I hit the weekly on the same day that I play for that long.
Aspiring Inheritors, you still have a full year before Halo 4 comes out and your figurehead rank that carries very little meaning to the game is made even more meaningless. Give 343 a break and a little bit of time for them to work out the unforeseen kinks that most likely popped up.

To OPs credit (heh, credits) they did implicitly say in the 11/30/11 Halo bulletin …
“While it’s nice to rake in more of those shiny virtual coins, this also means your chances of hitting the daily credit cap are greater than when you initially started playing. We want you to be rewarded for the blood, sweat, and tears you’re pouring into your online battles, so we’re raising the daily credit cap. Expect this change to go live with the December matchmaking update.”
Catch that last bit? December matchmaking update. Not “by the end of 343 Day”. Not “By the end of December”. But “With the December matchmaking update.” which was 3 days ago.

Guess i don’t play enough because i hardly ever hit the credit cap and i am an Eclipse. I played for about four or more so hours yesterday (Firefight, Anniversary Squad, Team Slayer, FFA Anniversary, BTB Anniversary etc) and i still didn’t hit it.

Ive NEVER hit the cap does that mean I dont have enough free time
i’ve only hit the cR cap once (and I’m a Noble) and that was on Bungie Day (777 cR Jackpot every game, gotta love 7)
when they raise it doesnt matter to me and i cant ever hit the darn thing anyways
