I just got ranked diamond 3 in free for all after I won the majority of my games and had over a ten kda. Of those games I was versing mostly onyxs and high diamonds and I actually beat champion 22 in the world to win one of my games. I should be ranked onyx 1500 easily. Not -Yoinking!- diamond 3. When you play so well and get ranked so bad for what you should of its suck a punch to the gut. I hate this history -Yoink- 343i goes by. If they aren’t competent enough to have a matchmaking system that can rank me properly in 10 matches then change it. It really makes me not want to play this game. I just don’t have the time to rank up to onyx properly now.

What are your guys experiences with bad matchmaking?

They explain a lot of how the MM works and addresses your issues. But if you don’t want to read the TL;DR is that you always start slightly back from where you ended the last season because they want to see that you actually deserve that spot. Oh and they tightened up FFA and made it harder to get Onyx/Champ this season.
