Do you think that yoinks will make a comeback?
I personally find them highly annoying, almost as much as when someone quits the match.
Accidental ones I can understand, but it’s the ones that are on purpose that get me.
So what do you think? Will they come back or no?

I once got a cross map yoink but 2 betrayals with one sniper shot! I was going for the yoink myself cause I’m like that… But I got the guy assassinating and an other one attempting to yoink! I was booted shortly after that… But I got such a laugh it was worth it.

As long as assassinations exist, there will always be Yoinks. You either get both of them or neither. I’m not saying I like them, but they’re just a necessity.
That’s why you need to just go for the beatdown. Check your surroundings before assassinating.

I would say that has me beat, I beat a guy down in armor lock yesterday and over the weekend my sister was beat down in armor lock.

yeah they really put a lot of work into trying to make it balanced… but it should just be removed from certain playlist that don’t involve vehicles. When my friend discovered it’s power we both figured it would be fixed before the retail launch, sadly it was not.

At least armor lock won’t be in Halo 4. I am extremely relieved about that but I told my sister about that announcement much to her dismay.

I’ve had some funny Yoinks happen to me. I’ve had a guy in a Ghost splatter the guy I was assassinating and completely miss me. I was too awestruck to even be mad at him for it!
But yeah, I do think they’ll be returning. As long as assassinations exist, I’m sure yoinks will, too.
Lol I accidently yoinked a teammate the other day with a mongoose while I was going to pick him up.
Well, there’s a specialization that speeds up your assassinations, so maybe that’ll help.

But assist vs assassination with awesome animation
They will come back, but makbe they should be more aggressive to make you feel like a try hard cuz you stole a kill.
