-Yoink- Teammates and Ranking

I know I can’t be the only one who doesn’t agree with losing a relatively large amount of performance points just because your teammates are absolutely garbage. Yes it is a team game, yes you must work together to win, but why I am being punished when my teammates go -15 or even worse sometimes?

If you even give half a -Yoink- about winning then you might as well not play unless you have at least 1 or 2 people in your party with you. To me that doesn’t scream “casual friendly” which is what this game seems to be all about.
And since I know someone is going to mention that Halo 2 and Halo 3 ranking system worked this way, I have one thing to say. Seems that everyone who is against 2 and 3 consider it dated and obsolete. Well if you are in favor of changing pretty much every damn aspect of a Halo game like they did with 5, then why not make the ranking system more accurately reflect player skill instead of luck of the draw based on matchmaking.

TL;DR
My rank is getting destroyed because of a idiots who go -20.

While I agree to an extent. It may be best to invest ina friends list of better than random people who will play with you. I inadvertently did this by adding 1 person as a friend during MCC while playing SWAT and he was on the opposing team. In turn as people partied and played with us, I made more friends. Basically if you want to be competitive stop being a lone wolf, but yeah it shouldn’t hurt your points as much if you go in alone and still do well.

This part of the beta is geared towards testing ranked team slayer. Although casuals are welcome, the reality has always been you need a solid team going in to matchmaking to do well in ranked.

The later part of the beta, and the final game, will undoubtedly have plenty of unranked social playlists that are not is punishing on bad teams.
