All it does is annoy people to no end. Assassinations help towards Rear Admiral but when people Yoink you it doesn’t help in any way. There is nothing good that comes from it except being a big jerk. All I’m saying is, Yoink should’ve never been implemented.
Don’t do the animation when you assassinate someone. Problem solved. If you do the animation it’s your own fault if you get Yoinked.

lol I find it funny when someone yoinks me. Its my fault for using the cinematic. I personally don’t usually try and yoink people because im to busy looking for the next target.

i too would be looking for my next target and i see someone getting assassinated so its an EASY target lol
Removing Yoinks, wont stop them, someone just wanted the kill more than you did.
Yoink-ing is kinda fun. But you should earn your kill for well… Beating em’ down with style.
I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it was harder to pull off…by that I mean, I do the animation on accident quite often and it sucks having your kill stolen especially since a good player would be more concerned with moving forward than stat -Yoink!-…not a big deal just kinda annoying more than anything…as long as the team wins though i dont really care so much about who gets the kills.
I like Yoinks. lol Especially when I Yoink someone who is split-screening with me, or on a TV near me. I like to yell it out IRL to rub it in. Heh… you don’t ever want to be on my team either

Yeah, it annoys me too. And you can’t really do anything about it, which sucks. (You take a chance by betraying the offending teammate, but sometimes that’s the only way to get the point across.)
AHH BUT YOU COULD ARGUE THAT ASSASSINATIONS ARE THE PROBLEM!
Did anyone think of that other than looking cool and being a new form of humiliation for your foe’s there is really nothing positive I can say about them, On the negative side they slow down gameplay if anything and cause yourself or mabye your team-mates to get stuck in a three second animation sequence where they may or may not get killed by the opposing team.
I understand how utterly cool that most people think they are but from a gameplay standard they are a problem a small problem but a problem none the less, I frequently yoink players kill but only to get them out of the animation sequence and to keep them alive.
In short do not use assassinations in competitive mutiplayer if you don’t want your kills yoinked.
except that 99 percent of the time when i tap RB it assassinates anyway.
Ahh thats why I dished out money on better controllers and use Bumper Jumper or Recon controls.

seems cheaper for 343 to make you have to hold the button for 1 whole second to trigger assassinations.
Although that razer onza is tempting…Too bad its not wireless.
People should still be able to get showstoppers, but not yoinks. You earned your awesome assassination, why have somebody be able to take it away?
I have yoinked my teammates because the other team was shooting at us and he probaly would have died if he continued the animation
