Please bring back the Yoink medal. Also, have it be negative 10 points so the person who does the Yoink has 10 points deducted from their score. Actually. because am assassination is worth 15 points,have that deducted from the Yoinkers score.
The medal would be fine.

I think the yoink is worth a positive 30 pts, just because the OP hates yoinkers.

Actually, I maxed out assassinations last year for Halo 4.
Also, I’ve had my fair share of Yoinks…I have no problem with Yoinking if it is an accident. Hell, I’ll even admit to some on purpose Yoinking back on Halo Reach.
The rule would apply to me just as much as anyone else!

I love that medal. It has to come back in Halo 5. Why? Simple, i want to hear players flip b/c of it. Its the most hilarious thing, followed by the Grunt Birthday SFX.

You know, i was very surprised that Halo 4 doesn’t have a Perfection Medal. I nailed a lot of them in this game, and i was like, “this is one of those times the medal belongs”. In Reach, i could barely make perfection until the pop slowly dropped then i started getting them, but with the release of Halo 4, i was getting them left and right.
Losing team points for Yoink medals would be like Christmas for the griefers who intentionally try and ruin people’s games - they’d deliberately try and do it even more probably. It’s bad enough when people AFK or commit suicide or betray just to annoy people - this wouldn’t help.
The <mark>best thing to do would be remove the possibility of yoinking all together</mark> - problem solved. Once someone starts a chainsaw execution in Gears, temmates cannot kill the victim.
Bungie should never have introduced the medal in Reach in the first place.

Also, you shouldn’t lose points for players killing people on the other team, that is kind of dumb.
Stealing a kill from a teammate is so much less satisfying now 
I would love to have the Yoink! medal back and an in-game message for the player whose kill was stolen which tells who stole their kill. The amount of butthurt would be glorious!

No. Remove the ability to Yoink and add a toggle for assassinations. Otherwise assassinations are going to continue to be frustrating.
If the new xbox controller has more buttons, assign a separate button to assassinations so people can get the back smack without worrying about an accidental animation.
There needs to be a TON of other medals next to Yoink to be brought back. I miss “Mmmm…brains!”
