I’m playing the beta to decide if I’m buying Halo 5 or not.
If it plays like it looks, I’ll stay away. But don’t act like you’re proving any kind of point by not playing the beta.

To be honest, they don’t really owe anybody anything. If they feel like throwing a bone to the community in the form of free DLC or extending the beta due to the problems presented by the MCC, they would do so because they wanted to. They really could just ignore their communities as so many indie devs seem to do on platforms like Steam.

I get it that people are angry and I can’t blame them, but 343i are working their -Yoink- off for fixing MCC, you should appreciate the effort for even a little. Surely they could have just said that sorry bros you bought the game already!

Its not 343i’s problem that people brought a console for one single game (which is pathetic, in its own right), and it certainly isn’t 343i’s obligation to provide you with any compensation. They’re not bound to it legally, and there’s nothing you can do about that.
If your argument is “people expect functioning products”, then go tell that to EA, and Dice. Go tell Bungie/Activision that you “expect the game that you paid for, and not what was falsely advertised at gaming conventions”, or that “you got scammed, for being sold extra content that was already on the game, day one, but locked away so that they can earn cheap money”.
Let me know how successful you are, in getting your compensation off of them.

Well technically not just for one game but for the definitive version of 4 games with tons of bonus content.
