This is also very true. Sometimes when I stomp on the other team I say good game regardless and they just back out right away.

Nope, one of those does apply to you.
I’ll give you a hint, it’s not the second one, it’s not after the third one but it is in front of the second one.

Congratulations, you guys are super extra ultra uber absolutely unequivocally unfathomably earth-shatteringly mega competitive! Thereby there is a 75% chance you have no social life and/or spend 23 hours of your entire day in a dark, dust-filled basement where the sun doesn’t reach. You’re essentially a complete recluse!
This. I go to school and play sports but whenever its time to get on Halo I put my tryhard pants on and play to win. You know nothing of our social lives and stop judging others. If you have nothing nice to say dont say it at all.
In fact, I at least spend 12 hours of my day in a well lit room where sun shines all day as long as it’s sunny. And while I definitely have some dust around here, especially in hard to reach places. But generally I feel this room rather comfortable and well lit. And as I spend large amount of my time awake away from home, especially in summer time, I don’t feel like a recluse at all.
But at least you got a small part of your guess correct. I in fact do play my games inside a room of somekind that has some amounts of dust. But you definitely need to hone your guessing skills a bit more.

Spending at least 12 hours a day in a particular room isn’t necessarily healthy but besides that, good for you, man. There is no evidence as to what you’re saying is true but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.
My “guess” surely applies to some people though, and that’s indisputable.

Only a little boy would think his k/d intimidates anyone. You are exactly what is wrong with the competitive community, a -Yoink- bag 12yr old who thinks his k/d makes him tough.

> No, but it does make him significantly better at halo than many people here. Makes him tough, at halo.

Get off your depression meds, bro. its messing with your temper.
K/D is really not a accurate representation of ability.
If your not raising your Trueskill when your a good player you will always be playing players of a lower ability level. Which you should find easy to get kills on. When you match up against people better than you every game or at your level then your K/D is goin to be much lower.
It’s simple, and its why the arena is fundamentally flawed.
Geuss what im not a casual, so your argument and post is invalid!
On a side note, i do respect the competetive community… i just dont respect everythign we say and do. Like some of us thinking we are better than everyone else and better for how the game should look, feel play and what it should have in it…

The problem is that if a Halo game is catered towards casual players it will kill the competitive side of the game, a bit like what Reach has done, it is just rendered un-playable on a competitive standpoint.
Yet if you design the game to be competitive it can still be played casually without any ramifications on the casual players. You get forge, theater and a campaign.
All we ask is that mutiplayer be designed around keeping the core competitive edge that Halo 2 bought to the table and Halo 3 stumbled on.
On a second note most competitive players play the game more than most casual players. We have a good insight into what makes good gameplay, I’m not going as far as saying “we know best” but something more like:
“The competitive community’s home is Matchmaking they know it just as well if not better than most people, they know what works and what fails to make fun, yet competitive game, any changes need to be tested at scale by them and changes need to be made no matter how large or small on their feedback.”
