im in love with the idea of my Spartan looking like everyone else’s
but im getting bored of having to AFK Griffball lobbies.
Can I just get a MTX so I can unlock the stuff I want?

at this point I’d rather be able to earn XP in Campaign or custom games.
I am not a fan of Halo Reach’s multiplayer at all. (armour abilities, DMR’s cross mapping, making vehicles redundant) i rank it as the beginning of the end of Halo MP.
there is no chaos in BTB its just lmao, camp with your friend and cross map.
so from someone who has no interest in the MP. I would like other avenues of being able to unlock stuff for my Spartan. and also a better progression system, Why do I have to buy stuff in order? where’s the creativity in it? everyone’s spartan is looking the exact same, I cant even get a visor colour any time soon, let alone knee pads or a wrist piece.

Play firefight, you’re guaranteed 10k+ xp a match unless you can’t even kill grunts. Everybody unlocks everything in the same order sure and agree the unlock tokens should be used for individual items with certain items needing multiple tokens to unlock but everybody does not look the same. Maybe at the very start but just cause I unlock something “new” doesn’t mean ima just slap it on my spartan if I don’t like what it looks like. Alao because you can’t see each others Spartans in lobby anymore, nobody even cares what you’re wearing. I’ve never once looked at a spartan in game and been like “oh cool armor piece”, I just shoot them and move on to the next enemy. If it was a friendly the only thing I notice about their spartan is that we on same team, that’s pretty much it.
Above all though, a huge no to adding mtx to the MCC.
Id rather id be “get x achievemnt, unlock y armor” then the armor would mean something

thats great and all, BUT im currently at rank 26, my next unlock is a Hazop helmet with some attatchments, IM NEVER GOING TO USE THAT. but im required to grind out till I hit 1,613,000 XP. so if we say 10k a match of firefight, thats quite a few games, to unlock something im never going to use.and the grind is only going to increase from there, the helmet I would like is locked to level 59.I wont even get a wrist piece till level 32. a visor colour at level 34 and a knee piece at level 33. the wrist, visor and knee pieces are things I dont even want, But I have to grind to unlock them so I can start the grind for things I actually want.
this progression system is terrible. so either increase the XP gains or Rework this dumb system.

You do you prestige and you start unlocking stuff fast again

Look at your player details. Above your current rank it will say tour 1 (which is MCC version of CoD prestiges). General is highest rank and after it you unlock tour 2 and start all over again. So the grind might be getting slow for you right now, but when you “prestige” you will start flying through the ranks again unlocking stuff. Here I’ll post this for you, you’re close to prestige, just a few more rank ups for you

I can agree to a degree. There should be another way to earn xp. Like back on the 360 we had Score Attack as well, a single person Firefight gametype. Or as others and yourself have been saying: campaign. But in terms of microtransactions… I gotta say no, but I can definitely see the temptation. All the items I wore in OG Reach are late tier unlocks, so I get it.
