Yetti Mech Idea.

The Yetti is basicly an evolved version of the halo wars cyclops.

*It is designed for Spartan usage due to its sense of power.
*It’s height would be a little higher than an elephant during use.
*It would crouch with being unused
*It has two firing modes. One activates machine guns on its arms and the another fires two slow recharging homing missiles.
*When walking forward, it’s speed will slow increase to a powerful run.
*When you jump, it activates a temporary thruster pack to get up high areas. It would time to recharge like an armour ability.
*It came walk up almost anything
*When pressing the melee button, it will slowly swing one of it’s arms and do double the damage and knock-back of a gravity hammer.
*It’s design will be themed off a falcon since it’s cockpit and lid would be almost the same and the falcon.
*It would be coloured dark UNSC green.
*It’s weaknesses go towards it’s slow truning and stopping speed and could be taken down by two rockets. It won’t be majorly overpowered.
*It would be tiered to the same status as a scorpian during big team battle.
*It is built for large maps like hemorrhage, paradiso and boneyard.

I just dont see it in Halo as a FPS.

The only way I can see a Cyclops working in Halo would be in a big team gametype similar to assault.

Say the defending team has to protect a blast door which houses a generator, while normal weapons do minor amounts of damage to the door, the only way to truly do damage to it is with a Cyclops. The Cyclops would be about 2 stories tall, would be a pure melee mech, and it would lumber a bit faster than normal walking speed, not like the speedy Armored Core or Hawken mech like you showed. Because of it’s slower speed, it is devastating in melee range, able to one hit most vehicles like the bad Warthog driver that would run right into it. Players themselves would probably be much harder for it to hit, but would be just as lethal if it does.

For the gametype, the Cyclops cannot be jacked or taken by the opposite team, and it cannot be boarded as simply as a Scorpion. The Cyclops can take a lot of damage, but there are specific points that can be damaged and broken off for a enemy player to board and plant a grenade. The assaulting team must defend their Cyclops until the blast door is destroyed and they could storm the much more vulnerable generator.

That’s my thought on it anyways.

The Yetti would be more agile and balanced (MP wise) than the sphinx. I would most likely fly up to the head and punch and shoot missiles to kill the driver.
